Aloha to those who miss me and those who don't!
This is the land of Aloha afterall. Having a great time. Spent three days on O'ahu, climbed Diamond Head again, visited the Bishop Museum, did another luau, enjoyed the beach but couldn't talk anyone into doing the Iolani Palace with me. Maybe next time. We are on Kauai. We hiked the Kalalau Trail and made it to the Hanapake'pae Beach, not sure of the spelling or the pronounciation but it was a very long 2 miles. Up hill and then down hill, etc, etc. It took 5 hours in and out plus time on the beach. I didn't know I needed my rt. rotator cuff for that. Yesterday we took a Holoholo boat tour of the Na Pali Coast. We saw a lot of kayak/campers en route. Well, not a lot but more than I expected. I figure the Aloha spirit will stick around for a while and then its off to the debates again! Don't know when I will log back on but in the meantime....ALOHA!!
