At last--180 days out is Monday, and I'm ready!
:cool1:

This is our first trip as DVC members, so some basic questions.

7:00 AM is 4:00 AM out here on the Left Coast. Bearing that in mind:

1) We're going in early December (obviously). Is Victoria & Albert's booked up quickly so that I should call first thing when I'm able?

2) I was told I should call DVC Member Services. Correct? Can they do all the restaurants for ADR? They told me to call directly for Cindy, but we're not doing that, so it would seem I should be fine calling them.

3) I assume the 10-day window rule applies to DVC as well (meaning: you can book up to 10 days after your arrival starting at the 180th day before).

Finally, I've got nights and restaurants down, but would appreciate input on times.

Sun 12/10 - Boma - we'll be at AK, which closes at 5, so probably 5:30ish?

Mon 12/11 - Hollywood Brown Derby - when should we eat to still make Fantasmic at 7:00 PM? I've read that the dinner package seats aren't that great and it's not necessarily worth it. But I don't necessarily want to eat a big dinner at a great restaurant at 4:30....

Tue 12/12 - Victoria & Albert's. Any time better? I'm planning on the Big Splurge for the Chef's Table is available.

Wed 12/13 - we'll probably be at Studio, then go to California Grill to watch Wishes, which is at 8:00. What time for dinner? Is there any way we could cram SpectroMagic at 7:00 in, and still get to CG in time?

Thu 12/14 - MVMCP, DVC discount night!

Fri 12/15 - Marrakesh - IllumiNations is at 9:30, so 7 or 7:30 should be late enough but still get us out in time? We missed it last year when we were at Bistro de Paris....

Yes, the 180 + 10 rules applies to DVC, so you can get all your ressies done in one call (and only have to get up early once - ouch 4 am is EARLY!)

I think you actually have to call a special number for VA Chef's Table and you should do that ASAP. Hopefully someone can verify that. I've never been since DH swears there's a law that prevents him from wearing a tie on vacation. :confused3

For your CG night with SpectroMagic, I think you could do it if you watch the parade from near the Railroad station and then head right for the monorail to Contemporary.

Also, if you wanted to dine in MK before MVMCP, you'll need to make those ressies quickly as they fill up fast. Good luck!

Well then you're in luck - a tie isn't actually required. Check this out:

Others have suggested LTT. What time would be best? Do you have to leave the park?

Thanks!
