almost everything is easier with money

"Lt. Dan said he took the money I made from being a shrimp boat captain and invested it in fruit, some apples or something and that now I was a gazillionaire or something and never had to worry about money no more, and I said 'thats a good thing.'"

Many, many, many things in life are much more important than money, it's just when you have a little more some things seem easier. I have been blessed with a good job and lots of money and cursed with no job and no money. I lived through both and am stronger today for it. Family, marraige to a wonderful person, children, friends and happiness all come to mind.

As the rich old man said "money can't buy love, but it sure can get you a lot of good looking broads"

Money can't buy happiness, but it can sure buy peace of mind over a lot of controllable things in life.

But there are some things that just can't be bought. I have a friend who is filthy rich (family money) and is just miserable. At 43 she's divorced with a string of loser boyfriends, and the true love of her life wants nothing to do with her--she can't get over him, even after a disaster of a marriage--to someone else--and almost 15 years since they broke up. :confused3

money makes the world go around.

That's been my motto for years, seriously. :rotfl:

Does it buy happiness? No, I don't think money does. However, I do believe it alleviates a lot of stress, especially within marriages/relationships. I think it's been said that couples fight more about money than anything else.

And I'm still open to the idea of someone making me a billionaire so I can test this theory out. :lmao:

what prompted this is that Gene Simmon's SO is in her early 40's with two late teens and wants another child. This decision is definitely easier with money. At the point in life when she is getting ready to put two thru college she can afford fertility help if needed, good medical care, and household help if she chooses. As an older mother money may be important to her new child if the parents are unable to work.

actually her bio says she was born in 57'....she looks great to be 49 though! Money can pay for the best surgeons too I guess;)

I think money would make some things easier.
I DO believe that it would be easier to deal with life's hardships/bad things/etc. IF...you are also not worrying about how to pay the bills and put food on the table at the same time.
I think that not having to worry about finances would lighten your stress load and allow you to deal with other problems in life.

no money doesn't buy happiness but I definately believe it gives a sense of security. I honestly think being in a financially strained position (poor ;) ) really makes you appreciate the security of a better financial position.
at least thats how I feel.

I think having money would make life easier.

True - while it cant buy you health, it can get you to the best doctors in the world and you don't have to worry about taking sick time etc. It can't make you happy, but I would rather be unhappy with a roof over my head than on the street. My dream, if I were to win Lotto, would be the go to the grocery store and not worry about a budget.
