Hi to all who have helped me, by responding to my questions and just for posting all kinds of good info. Here's my story--posted here I'd waited two weeks for DVC info book, then guide Judy Kaufman overnited it to me. She phoned to verify book arrived and to let me know she'd be out of office for a week(she was working on the ship). I left a phone message for her, expecting to hear back on Monday, but Judy phoned this morning. Since I'd learned here about the MB program changing on 4/1 (Judy confirmed), I gave her a credit card deposit on the phone! So now I'm waiting on papers for 270 VWL points with a February use year (my preference based on advice here with my usual summer vacation time). She first offered October, I asked for Feb. first choice or Dec. 2nd choice. No problem, says Judy (but she also took the time to make sure I understood I wouldn't get more points until Feb. 02 and about my summer vacations and banking and so on). I'm so amazed and excited! I know many of you don't like the MB program, but this year's vacation time (and money) is already arranged and spent, so the sellback's not a hardship and helps with the price. My family and I used to have a fifthwheel trailer we'd use at Fort Wilderness, so I don't have a problem with the VWL transportation or location.
Sorry if this is too long, but this has been an easy process so far, and a lot of the ease is because of this board and its wealth of information and help and friendly advice (not scaring the newbies is nice!). Also, I wanted to post about how responsive Judy's been. Thanks again.
