Almost 3

My two year old doesn't turn three until the end of June 2009. We're kicking around the best time to go to WDW. I was checking into the beginning of June 2009...but DD won't be quite 3. Will she be able to go to BBB? Will they let us get the DDP for her. She's a pretty impressive eater most days. There's no way she'd be happy with extras off everyone else's plate when her sister will be getting a full kids meal.

I'm sure this sounds silly - but she'd be so close in age - plus she's a tall girl...I doubt anyone would question her age since people were asking if she was three when she wasn't quite two yet.

Also - another family we're thinking of travelling with have a two year old who won't turn three until the end of August 2009. She's little though, but I don't think she eats much. But we'd like to be able to take all the girls to BBB when we go.

I have read elsewhere on this board that BBB requires them to be 3. You can take a child of any age to the barbershop in Magic Kingdom to get their hair done and buy a dress in advance or at the park for her. She's almost 3, she will probably be happy with whatever she gets as long as you play it up as special.

A child who isn't three yet is not allowed to be added to the dining plan. On the flip side, she also isn't required to have a park ticket yet either. I would bring a copy of her birth certificate if she is big for her age. As an under 3 child, she also eats free at all of the buffets and family style meals (which includes most of the character meals except Cinderella's Royal Table and the Princess Storybook meal in Norway). With the $10 per night you are not paying for her dining plan and the money aren't spending on her ticket, you would be better off buying her a kids meal with cash for each meal where she isn't already able to eat for free.

If you want to buy her the dining plan you will also need to buy her a ticket. You'll just have to book her as a 3yo. If you dont mind the extra expense, then I dont see it being a problem. I really dont think they'll ask for proof that she's opld enough to charge for.

As for the BBB, if you think she can handle it, then i would go ahead and book it.
