what would you say was your favorite gift now?

For me, hands down, the electric "throw" blanket for the sofa! Never knew I wanted one but I love it!

I would guess our 8 year old DS would say, his mini/exercise trampoline! (I like it too, has kept him from jumping on the beds!)

and no question, DH would say the travel coffee mug that plugs into the cig lighter in the car and keeps his coffee hot.

All of the above mentioned gifts where secondary gifts, not anticipated to be the big hits that they became.

anyone else?

edited as DS is not a big coffee fan.....

I love my stuffed bear my dd gave me. She picked it out, stuffed it and everything.

My rabbit fur lined leather gloves have been very useful this winter.

Hummm Your DS likes coffee?? I think you meant DH maybe...ROTFLOL!!!!

Hummm well I got some really pretty lights, but someone stole them:( :( :( :( I miss them though...they were very pretty:( :( :( :(

Besides that I love my giant Mickey and Minnie that DH got me from The Disney Channel rep.

oops!

Typo!

DH loves his coffee
DS finds coffee disgusting :D

One of my two sons actually loves coffee--the way I make it! I wouldn't dare let him have any though--other than a quick taste-- because the last thing he needs is extra energy! Heck, I'd never get that kid to bed!!!

Let me see...for me it would be my scanner...I'm loving sending friends across the country updated photos of the family, and sharing old photos for a few laughs! ;)

For DH--it would be the 4 figure (as in $$$$) stereo receiver he bought himself a month before Christmas. Don't even go there.

For my two DS's, Playstation 2, without a doubt!

I don't really have a favorite Christmas gift this year. I guess since I use it the most at the moment, it would be the Rachet and Clank game.

My favorites instead are my new sewing machine (early birthday present) and new cell phone (anniversary present from DH)

My girls love their playstation 2. I'd like to get a turn sometime. :)

Beth, someone stole your lights??? Shame on them. I bet they were really pretty.

What I really like are a large stich plush, 100 acre woods sheets, and a snowglobe- not one I had seen and maybe wouldn't have asked for if I had seen it, but now that I have it, I really, really like it.

Rollerblades! I LOVE them! We used to go to Roll on America in Westborough every Saturday in the early 80s, so I'm re-living some of the best years of my life.

I also got knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards AND a helmet to wear with the rollerblades. I feel like I have been on skates all my life (well, I can't stop in them yet, so I just make sure I slow down alot before I get to any tricky spots in the neighborhood).

My butcher knife my husband gave me. My father has a friend that is a chef and he told my husband this was a good knife to have in the kitchen. It is the brand he uses himself. I used it to cut up some potatoes and it was like a knife going through butter. Definitely will save me much time and aggravation in the kitchen. :Pinkbounc

My favorite gift is Moulin Rouge on DVD.
DS-his Imaginext castle
DH-He got two new PS2 games. I don't even know their names.

Serena - My sister is taking me to make one of these for my birthday at the end of January. I've seen one my niece made, and I can't wait!

I didn't really get a lot of gifts for Chrismas, just some chocolate and some money; but I appreciated them. Really, I didn't want/ask for anything else. So, I guess the best gift would have to be the one I gave to myself - trip to DISCon.

I love the Build A Bear Shops.....you can go look at

www.buildabear.com you can even build them online if you want! I'm 31 and love building bears!!!! They have a really cute white shaggy dog now too...and they always have the cutest holiday outfits to put on them...I bet the Valentine ones are gorgeous!!

Laurie,
They were soooo pretty!!! They were all different colors and they blinked on and off...WHO WOULD DO SUCH A HORRIBLE THING????
