Allyson update

I just thought I would give a quick update on Allyson for those who have been following her cancer treatments. Things have been going well for her, she is tolerating the radiation so much better than the chemo, my sister reports she has so much more energy now than before. She has 10 more radiation treatments and then she goes back to the three drug chemo, which really knocks her out. She is doing well with her tutor and her grades are great. Allyson had a great Thanksgiving, the eve of Thanksgiving she was able to watch them blow up the balloons for the parade and then on Thanksgiving day they had a bird's eye view of the parade with a police escort at the end, which she thought was "cool". She also met with the Mayor, took his picture and got his autograph. Then recently she met Michael J. Fox, got his autograph and picture as well. My sister said he was so down to earth, she was surprised. Then last night Allyson was on the 11:00 news and got to meet some of the NY Giants. She is in good spirits, which is so nice to see after this long journey she has been on. She still has more chemo until June, but for right now she is doing well. Thank you all for your continued thoughts, prayers and PM's, as always I greatly appreciate them.
