Welcome to DIS!

Thanks for the tips! I agree with the bus service at ASSp being the best. You usually have a direct bus to the parks in the morning and you're the first stop in the shared buses on the way back. I also really liked the food court. We bought bagels from the grocery store and toasted them at the food court to save even more money.

Can I ask you a favor? Could you please take off your CAPS LOCK when posting? Posting in ALL CAPITALS is considered shouting and is hard to read. The use of punctuation also helps people read your thoughts. I don't mean to cramp you style, I'd just like to be able to easily read what you say :).

sorry about that I didnt even realize I was doing that thanks for the heads up

If I ever get to Disney World again--my last time was in 2000--I would definately stay at the All Star Resorts. For a man whose only wheels are on his suitcase, the bus service is terrific. The buses are so frequent that getting to the parks--and making connections to other resorts--is pretty easy, although the Downtown Disney bus takes longer because of DTD being in Orlando.

Yep, I agree, Bus service is the BEST!;) I leave in 8 days for the WORLD!:p :p

jimmytammy it is like you read my mind. My 12 yr old son and I are going in Oct for the MNSSHP. I wanted to stay in one of the moderates and he said "No Mama, lets stay at Allstars and use the money we save for souviners".Well needless to say I was wondering about the buses and the food court and..... You even answered the "3 meals a day ?" Thank You,and yes we will be bringing an extra suitcase for all the goodies. :smooth: :smooth: Chris and ;) Elaine

I was worried about staying @AS last year because we stayed @CR the year before. I was not sorry that I made the change. The food court is MUCH better that the one @CR and the bus service was excellent (even though it's not as easy as the monorail from CR) I'm going back to ASMu this fall and feel like it's silly to spend so much more just for a room and the free newspaper you get @CR. Staff is excellent, too. My DD lost her wallet in our room and didn't realize it until we were 3 hours on the highway after checking out. Not only did they find it for me, they FedEx'd it to us with all of her cash intact. They also offered to take the cash out and have a check written to put in the wallet if I was worried about sending cash with FedEx. I'm a great fan of the AS resorts.
