Allowing Multiple People to Edit a Thread

@WebmasterCorey is there a way to allow multiple people to edit the first few posts of certain threads? On the Disneyland side, we have very long super threads for each of the thee hotels. Unfortunately, the people that started the threads aren't around anymore. While the threads are still active, the first few posts with key information are out of date. Would it be possible to allow someone else to edit those first few posts and to be in charge of keeping the information up to date?

Along the same lines, there are a couple of threads/topics that users would like to start, but it would be difficult to for one person to keep it up to date. An example is a master calendar for all of the official and unofficial events happening at the Disneyland Resort. Is it possible to create a thread where multiple people can have the ability to edit the info at the top?

I find that EVERY Disney hotel thread is many years old, hundreds of pages and much of the older information out of date. Seems a better practice would be to close/lock/delete years old threads and start a new one every few years. I doubt anyone wants to sift through 50+ pages of old info to find the answer to their question. People new to this site can easily read out-of-date information when they don't realize the information is so old.
