Allocating Days--MK/Epcot--consecutive or alternating?

We will have about 5 full days for our first (well, the first for our 6yo DD, 4 yo DS) visit. As I get ready to do our ADRs I am trying to determine if it's best to plan on 2 days in a row at MK or break it up with Epcot.

Not sure yet which of the other parks we plan to hit. Normally, I am more of a spontaneous traveler (to some degree). We will likely do the park hopper option.

Any thoughts about this from a planning perspective?

I would alternate personally. My kids love MK the best, so I do it early in the trip and then later so that I hit it at the beginning when expectations are high and at the end say they can say goodbye. if we did all our MK up front, the rest of the trip would seem look a downer for my kids. Your mileage may vary.
