Alligator Bayou trundle beds

Am going back to the magic in June with my daughter, son-in-law and 3 yr. old granddaughter. Was wondering if anyone out there knew if we could get an Alligator Bayou room with a trundle bed with only 4 people in the room?

I could be wrong, but I don't think they charge the additional 15.00 anymore. Anyone know for sure?

I made reservations for the POR Alligator Bayou section two weeks ago. I was not charged for the trundle bed.

Last time I was there, I traveled with my parents and we booked separate rooms. (I am way past the day when I can stay in the same room with my dad snoring!) I was alone in a room with two double beds and a trundle. I figure that if they would give one person a trundle, they should give your group of 4.

When I made our reservation for October 2004, I inquired about the trundle bed and was told it would be $15 extra. I decided "no thanks" since the four of us could manage with 2 beds. When we arrived we were assigned to AB, and a trundle was in the room already. DS9 and DD8 took turns sleeping on the trundle bed and there was no charge applied at check-out.

I just called today to change my ressie from magnolia terrace to the alligator bayou because my nephew was joining us.They told me that if you have less than 5 to a room they can only put in a request for a trundle otherwise if you have 5 people they will book you in that room.

This is correct - parties of 5 have preference for the trundles, with good reason.
