Alligator Bayou Cricket Sounds

I read on another thread that at night Disney plays a tape of crickets chirping throughout Alligator Bayou.Is this correct?Thanks.

Must be new cos I never heard it! and I spent a lot of time in the grounds. Just heard the dixie type music which I loved

ps a few nights when adjusting to time zones I jogged around the resort at 4am, and swam in the quiet pool. I am not a good sleeper at all.

I would think that if you hear crickets at night, it is real crickets chirping, not a recording. They have crickets in FL, you know !

We have a lot of crickets in Florida. I really don't think they need a tape. If so, I'd be happy to move the ones that chirp under my bedroom window at night over to Port Orleans!

I think not. Reason being is that one many walks that I take when I am at POR when I step near that area where I hear the crickets or just come close they the chirping will stop.

I think its the real deal! lol

We'll be at POR on 5/18 - 5/23 - I'll check out the cricket sounds and report back to ya'll. I think they may be real, but I don't know. I'll try to figure it out. I'm hoping to get Alligator Bayou - I'm requesting it.

I live in the Country and we hear crickets, owls, bullfrogs, whistling frogs, coyotes...you name it. I love it!! I couldn't sleep without all the animal noises.

This is right up there with the animatronic creatures at Kilamanjaro Safari. .Someone actually thinks the animals there are really robotic.
