"Allergy"/intolerance to soy and soybean oil

I've done my google "research" and looked through the threads here, but wondering if anyone knows the answer. I may call the Disney Dining allergy number next week. My DH has developed over the recent years an intolerance to soy and soybean oil. Think soy sauce, soy lecithin, soybean oil in dressings, foods fried in soybean oil, etc. Canola oil is fine though.

We have only 2 dining reservations, Narcoossee's and Via Napoli, for our upcoming trip, and think he'll be okay there. Otherwise we'll eat counter service, or in the room. Some menus have a soy-allergy section and some don't, but again, I think he has some safe options.

So, my online "research" says Disney uses soybean and canola oil for frying, but it is location-dependent. There is a disclaimer on the allergy menu about using highly refined cooking oils such as soybean oil. Does anyone know, as in, has asked in person, about frying oils recently at Magic Kingdom? DH for some reason is talking about wanting chicken fingers and fries at either Columbia Harbor House or Cosmic Ray's.

Thanks for the help.

Yeah, go order some delivery off Publix and Instacart for some soy free safe items just in case Disney is unable to fulfill.

As of my last visit Spring of 2023, Cosmic Rays wasn't making the chicken strips and fries in soybean anymore b/c I was safe to eat them. But this may have changed again since. You can always ask to speak to manager about allergies at any location and they will do their best to advise you and accommodate you.

Good luck!
