allergies

I'm not allergic to anything, as far as I know.
(:

Pollen - Basically hayfever.
Animal fur - Same symptoms as hayfever.
Dust - Same as above.

I think I have something called Oral Allergy Syndrome. It's an allergy to raw fruit, vegetables, nuts, spices, etc. It mainly occurs with people who have hayfever. So far, I know raw apples, apriciots, peaches, and maybe pears cause it. I'm OK when it's cooked but when raw, my throat swells up and lasts for about an hour or two.

I have Oral Allergy Syndrome too. I have very high tree/pollen allergies so thats what they think it's from, but I did get hayfever a few times when I was younger. Otherwise...I'm known as the Allergy Queen:
Foods:
All Dairy Products (except eggs) - stomach issues
High Fructose Corn Syrup - stomach issues
All Artificial Sugars (Splenda and such) - stomach sensitivity
Pure Soy - throat/mouth itchy and swelling
Oral Allergy Sydrome (fresh fruits/veggies/nuts) - throat/mouth itchy and swelling
Outdoor:
Trees - itchy eyes, coughing, sneezing
Pollen - same as above
Indoor:
Cats - itchy eyes, coughing, sneezing
Dogs - itchy eyes
Dust - same I think
Smoke - itchy eyes, coughing, sneezing

I think thats it.

I never even thought of certain soaps/laundry detergents. To me, I'm so used to allergies being medicines (that's what happens when you live in a hospital! LOL)
I don't know if it's an allergy per say, but most soaps/laundry detergents make me break out in hives. Right now I just use Johnson & Johnson Baby Soap and I think it's xtra detergent?

Oh, and the penicillin is a trait in my dad's family. My sister, my dad, and myself are all allergic to it.

I'm allergic to a lot of laundry stuff, too.

I can't believe I forgot to say bleach. If I'm around bleach fumes for more than.. 10 minutes or so, my nose starts to bleed really bad and I get a terrible headache.

I get allergies in the fall and spring. Just general from stuff in the air and thankfully it's not too bad. I've never been tested but I just assume that I do because my eyes get itchy and red and nose runs and stuffs up.

I think hives are allergic reactions.

My mom got hives from Banana Boat sunscreen on our cruise once and then that fall got it from a laundry detergent. The detergent was BAD for her.

Sometimes I get a contact dermatitis, which just causes a red, itchy streak where an allergent (that I can't identify) touches it. That is the extent of it though.

i'm allergic to this chemical thats in the skins of mangos, in the leaves of poison ivy and oak. my reaction to all three is like REALLY REALLY bad poison ivy. and if i eat the mango (because even if its pealed, the chemical has been smeared all over it byt he knife and everything) my skin gets really hot and flushed, and my face and throat get itchy and puffy.

the first few weeks i was at college i went to one of the cafeterias and there was a rice pudding that had little bits of mangos in it. i thought i was dying! lol. i had to rush home and take benadryl.

i'm also very allergic to bee stings. i'm not sure about any other stings, i've only been stung by a bee, and only once. i was a little kid though, and it my whole leg swelled up 2xs its normal size (i was stung on my big toe)

i'm also allergic to dust. i lose my voice.

a lot of lotions (i dont know whats in them)- a huge red, nasty looking rash occurs and spreds all over

Are you allergic to anything else like soaps, shampoos, etc.
If you're that allergic to a lot of lotions, I would recommend getting tested for chemical allergies. I am extremely allergic to lanolin and parabens which are found in everything (detergents, lotions, makeup, soaps, shampoo, etc).

It's not a very common allergy but it can be very bad.

I'm not allergic to any shampoos or conditioners that I know off, because I've been using the same exact type for years.
But if I go to hotels and use theirs soaps, the rash will start.
And sometimes if we switch the fabric softner or detergent the rash will come up again.

i mostly get random seasonal allergies. nothing else really that i know of.

Seasonal Allergies - when i get them i'm absolutely MISERABLE. They are soooo severe.
Mild allergy to Pistachios - i discovered this while eating them. My mouth just starts to itch REALLY bad. but, i've not eaten one since. i'm scared too. lol

grass- runny nose, itchey eyes
pollen- watery eyes
trees- swollen eyes, watery eyes.... i'm even allergic to my chrismas tree!
landry detergent- weird right? i break out all over with these itchy bumps...:confused3
