Most of my family has hay feaver, with an allergy to grasses, will this be a problem there in August?

I can't imagine that it could be worse than where we live, which has the highest pollen counts in the nation, usuallt 300x what is considered high else where.

But, you never Know, and I don't want to get there an be miserable.

Thanks for any info.

You may be affected by some other allergen than what is predominant in Orlando at that time. I'd recommend making sure you have the allergy meds with you. I know I was having an awful time with my allergies (pollen) here at home before we went to WDW in April. I was concerned, because the pollen counts were supposed to be high in Orlando too. But I spent the whole week able to breathe, because it was a different allergen in Florida than what we have in NH. Have been unable to breathe since we got home  Only you know what exactly you're allergic too. You may have a problem with it while you're there, or you may have a week of relief from your allergies. I dont think there's really a way to predict it. I usually look at pollen.com and that can predict at least the pollen counts. You may look to see if there are other websites like it that can help you prepare.

I still have allergy problems.

just take your medicines and you will be fine!

Orlando generally has a wind and that sometimes helps or sometimes hurts.

It is 90 miles from both the ocean and gulf.
