Allentown KOA (pennsylvania)??

Has anyone been there before. Planning our next trip and can't seem to find any reviews or info except at the KOA site. Any info would be great. Thanks!!

I stayed at the one in Gettysburg. But I'm assuming you really mean Allentown, not just the general area.

I have been to the Allentown KOA and it was nice but not much extra activities to do besides the pool. We only stayed for two nights and went to Dorney Park for 2 days and hung out by the pool the other days.

It's great to get reviews before going to campgrounds. We are going for about a week and if the campground is not that good, it will be a LONG week. We are not too worried about activities in the campground as we have planned many days out, Dorney Park, etc.

Another question for those who have been to Dorney Park, would you reccommend 1 or 2 days?? It will be Me, DH, DS13 and DS16, most of us are coaster lovers and wild riders, also will be going to water park as well. Thanks for the info

I grew up about 30 minutes from Dorney Park and have been there numerous times. If you're doing the waterpark and the amusement park you could probably stretch it to two days, but as a child we did both parks in one day numerous times.

There aren't that many coasters at Dorney and I think usually the lines aren't bad (at least not on weekdays--it's been awhile since I've been there for a full day). I think it depends upon how leisurely you want to be and how many of the smaller more common rides you really want to get on.
