Who has flown allegient air?? They've got a reasonable ticket price for when we go in August. Plus have you flown out of Pease???

We flew them into Pease in October and we were very satisfied. We're going to WDW again in late April and the only reason we're not considering them for this trip is because we need a Saturday flight which they don't offer so we're going with SW instead.

My niece flew out of there in November and they were very pleased with Allegient. The airport is really small. Parking is right at the terminal and you only have to walk a couple hundred yards. She said the airport only opens 2 hours before the flight. They got there three hours prior and had to leave to go get something to eat to kill some time. She would definately fly with them again.

We're flying allegient in June/July because it allows us to fly out of and into the smaller regional airports (Ill--Rockford; FL--Sanford). those airports are so much easier to get around in-- its well worth it. After flying decades into the huge international airports--give me a smaller one any day!!! :cool1: The snacks on Allegient cost about $2 i've heard and it's a bit no frills like SW. sounds good to us. As long as we can avoid MCO. :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Can you rent a car at Sanford?? What rental car agencies are there?

You can easily rent a car at Sanford. All of the major companies are there and Alamo, National, Dollar are onsite. Hertz and Avis may be onsite but I don't pay much attention to them so I'm not 100% sure. Budget is NOT on site.

To get to WDW, go out the main airport exit, take a right and then get on SR417. You can take 417 all the way to Disney (about an hour or so). It is a toll road (about $6.00) but it is not very crowded and you normally sail right along.

Sanford is really easy to get around, you will like flying into there.

we will being flying them in march...........we used to fly Pan am...but they aren't around anymore I don;t think.....hopefully it will be fine....good flight times too...fri night 6:45 so we get a whole extra disney day..... :earsgirl:

Used to fly out of Pease on Pan Am. Loved flying out of that airport and into Sanford. It's just so much easier and quicker. The parking used to be free at Pease as well which was very, very nice!

Just to let you all know they (Allegiant) are offering buy one get one free on packages including air and hotel! Not too shabby if you ask me... Michelle
