I paid for a carry on bag for our upcoming flight to Sanford from Little Rock. Anyone know if a vera Bradley large duffle bag will be okay for that? Also, it's me and my two daughters, 15 and 12. I booked our 3 tickets together. Will they automatically sit me with my children? I did not pay to pick my seats ahead of time. Just wonder if they will assign us together somewhere on the plane.

I think your bag should be ok, you can measure it as long as it is not packed too full it VB Bags can be squished pretty easy to fit. Allegiant flies pretty full so there is no guarantee that you will be sitting with your daughters.

If you booked everyone on the same reservation/itinerary then you will PROBABLY be seated together (probably near the back of the plane) You can check-in 24 hours before your flight and you will see the seats you have been assigned by the system. If you don't like the seat assignment, you can book better seats (for a fee) at this time if there are any left available together. Seating usually costs from $12-$20 per seat depending on were they are in the plane.

You aren't guaranteed seating next to your children. I don't think it would be a big issue being separated from a 12 and 15 year old, but you can always pay to pick seats now.

All you need to do is measure your bag and check Allegiant's website to see if your bag fits their carry-on restrictions.

Thanks for all your replies. It's not a huge deal to me about the seating, if it was I would have paid the extra money. . I was just curious as I've never flown allegiant with kids. The 12 year old won't be thrilled about being separated, the 15 year old would probably prefer it!
