Like, when is the best time to go price, crowd and warmth wise?

I don't care if it is in the 60's when we go, but any lower might be a downer.

I keep thinking early Feb would be something to consider, avoiding Valentines day and President's day of course! Will I run into issues with Dancers or Cheerleaders or some other really large group?

We have been in June and September as well as once in May, but the prices are really high in April and May and the crowds are so high in March that February might be the way to go.

Tell me what you think! We are flexible after Mid January or so.

We have been the past 3 years during the middle/end of our school vacation week - the week that starts with President's Day. We have been pleasantly surprised by the crowds and had great weather all three years.

We gone early Feb and yes, there was always some cheerleading competition going on.

So not really recommending that then? We are looking as early May too or late April...

We went at the end of January into February, and I think its the perfect time to go! We did stay one night at one of the All Stars before moving to WL and there were cheerleaders at AS and they were a little annoying, so I woudn't recommend that if you think it would bother you. If you plan on staying at a Mod or Deluxe, it wouldn't be an issue.

The weather is perfect and the crowds are low. I think anytime after the Jan marathon and before Presidents Day is the best time to go.

I stayed at ASMusic in early Feb a few years back. For us, the weather wasn't very good but worse, I had no clue about the cheerleading thing. They were cheering right outside our door until midnight. LOUD. They were back at it before 7 a.m. We wouldn't have minded the morning thing but there was NO WAY I could sleep through it. Personally, I think that if there can't be a cut off time of, say, 9 pm, then non-cheerleading guests should not be put in rooms where there is cheerleading right outside the door. It was the most miserable several days I have spent at any hotel. Heck, I'm tired and irritable just thinking about it ;) I'm not against the cheerleading in theory, just not late at night outside my room.

LOL I would hate that!!

My DH and I are in the middle of cooking up an idea where we take the kids between thier birthdays in April (I understand there might be cheerleaders, looking to save up for a mod!).

We are even thinking of surprising them and waiting as long as humanly possible to tell them (like telling them we are going to Cleveland or something).

That sounds like fun. So I'm wondering if there is a comprehensive list of when large, nocturnally vocal groups are at the resorts. It would be nice to know. My sister thought there was one somewhere but I have not been able to find it.

We were only at Disney like three full days at that time. I think February can be very nice we just didn't get lucky. I'm kind of coveting a moderate or deluxe resort anyway but I don't see it happening until my DDs are a bit older.
