Here are our plans (I included ADRs just so you can see where we need to be at certain days/times):

Arrive early on May 27th.......check bags at POFQ, go to Blizzard Beach, return late afternoon, change and Chef Mickeys ADR at 7:10.

May 28th, Epcot EMH, Coral Reef ADR 12:00, Nap, MK EMH.

May 29th, Son's birthday song, presents, pinata in AM....12:00 Rainforest ADR, AK EMH (Pretty sure this one will be crowded, but he wants this park this day.........or do you recommend skip EMH, go early, leave early afternoon for birthday things in room?)

May 30th........Resort visiting....Boma ADR 7:00.

May 31st, MK Breakfast in Cindy's Castle ADR 8:30, Nap, MGM EMH (or should we skip the EMH and do Epcot World Showcase this afternoon/evening?)

June 1st, MK AM EMH, Crystal Palace ADR 11:30, Nap, Epcot World Showcase for EMH (or should we skip this EMH, flipping with yesterday and do MGM?)

June 2nd.......no parks, Marketplace, Disney Quest, maybe O'hana Breakfast (no ADR made yet).

June 3rd..........MGM for Star Wars weekend, 12:10 Sci Fi ADR, hopping over to Epcot at some point to end with Le Cellier ADR at 7 and Illuminations at 9.

Fly out next day.

IF we can get the new character breakfast on the last day, we will, since we are already planning MGM that day, if not, will need to try for June 1st, and miss our MK EMH. Only other EMH would be on our day off on May 30th, so would either just not take the day off (we have 10 day hoppers with no expiration, were just going to save some for next trip) and go to MK EMH that day, and likely spend all day, changing CP ADR to that day as well, and do MGM the morning of the 1st or all day if we decide to avoid the evening EMH park.

We really must do one MK EMH morning, as that is THE best time for Fanstasyland!

Are you totally confused now? I sure am!

Any thoughts/advice?

Okay, maybe TMI in that post.

I'm asking, should we do MGM evening EMH one day and Epcot evening EMH one day, or should we just switch the two and not do evening EMH?

I don't know the answer to the evening EMH question. I know my crew would be too tired to do it, and they are 11 and 13. But, we get up real early, too. I like how you have no park days. You should be able to get some relaxation in.

I'm not sure I'd do an evening EMH followed by a morning EMH. You might end up dragging your crew, and no one likes to be dragged. I left my crew one morning because I wanted to go to the EMH park and they were too tired. We both got to do what we wanted, them to sleep, me to visit a park.

My advice is the same I say to everyone who seems to be getting a bit too uptight about their schedule.

It is YOUR vacation. Asking what restuarants and resorts are worth going to is fine, but when you start asking others if your schedule seems good, maybe you're going a bit overboard.

Relax, it's a vacation. Have a good time. Your family will have fun regardless of how tightly scheduled their itinerary is. Besides, by remaining liquid, you allow for things that were unexpected. And this way, when the unexpected happens, it won't "ruin" your entire vacation (believe me, I've seen enough threads about people's "ruined" trips).

So, relax, enjoy YOUR vacation, and don't care what others see, get done. You won't get to do everything, and if you try to, you won't have as much fun.

It's DISNEYWORLD DAGNABBIT!!!!!

I think you should go to the AKL first thing in the morning JM2C

You are doing an aweful lot of hopping. Is this your first visit? Are you going with small kids?

I dont think I would devote a day in the middle of your trip for resort hopping. I would use dinning to see the resorts. For example, have breakfast at Wispering Canyon @ WL then catch the boat over to MK. Dine at Boma on your AK day. Go to a park that day and free up a day leter in your trip. You can use it as you want to, maybe to return to your favorite rides or the ones you missed, by park hopping, or many people find they want to do another waterpark day.

Thanks all for the replies.

Mattsdragon, I am not necessarily asking if my schedule seems good. I am asking others' opinions based on their experiences as to whether one scenario might work better than another. I don't follow the schedule exactly if we run into something off-kilter, but we think good planning is the reason we've had such great experiences. We don't expect to see everything, as we haven't in any trip yet, and in fact, some things we've still not seen after all these trips. None of our trips have been ruined by not seeing something, and we already know POTC will be down for this one. We're okay with that. We're not trying to keep up with the Joneses..........this is our own plan for what we'd like to do, I just wondered whether we should switch our AKL plan around and swap Epcot and MGM for non-EMH times. Seems like a fair question to ask of like-minded friends.

Stacy, it's our 5th trip. We will have a 4 year old and 11 year old. We don't really hop..........we go back to the hotel for a rest. So, it makes it just as easy to go to a different park in the afternoon as it does to go back to the morning one. I understand what you are saying about the dining, but we love to see the different resorts and pick one for next time! We also love going to All Star Movies for the photo ops with the kids, and thought this time we might check out Pop Century for the same.

mmeb, I am wondering if those EMHs might be too late for my kids.........part of why I wonder if we should even try, or just head to a non EMH park. Of course, once the kids seem to be getting too tired or overstimulated, we would leave, but I don't want them to be too tired to enjoy it!

I think you may be right Melag.
