All you can drink cups

Hello All!
Just found this nice site with great info. Soooooo! Was wondering if anyone can tell me if the cup I had when we stayed at Carribean Beach will be good for Port Orleans resort or do I have to buy a new cup? Not that I'm cheap, but... if I can save a buck or two!!!

Hello FaerieG and Welcome to the DIS! You have opened with a hot topic, my friend! You may wish to do a search on refillable mugs or you may wish to sit back and watch the 'fireworks'. You wouldn't believe how impassioned people can be about this particular topic, so please bear in mind we are a friendly group and we are delighted you have found us.

Although I personally was told by a CM it's ok to bring your mug back to the same resort year after year, many guests have had differing experiences. I am sure you will hear a variety of opinions on the matter, hopefully all done in a nice way, remembering we are all good people and good friends here.

I have mugs from POR and BC. They have a little blurb printed on the mugs that say "Refills for length of stay at purchase location". Those aren't the exact words but close enough.

You will find a lot of good information on this board.

To answer your questions, buy a new mug at the resort you're staying at. If you're staying at POR, you can use your mug at POR and POFQ, same with the pools.

Welcome to the dis boards! SO....my ds, 32, goes down to my basement today (where he is presently residing) and notices my collection of 13 refill. mugs from various Disney resorts. He says, and I quote, "Hey, Mom, don't you think you're carrying your Disney addiction a little far with all these stupid mugs? I mean...how many can you possible use? Is there a support group for people like you?!" Well, of course I need them all. I have them from DxL (3), POR (2 each from 2 different trips..different designs), Polynesian (3), BWV (2), BCV (1) and one from Typhoon Lagoon! Silly boy. Oops...sorry, forgot my 2 from AllStarMusic. Make that 15 of the things.

Welcome FaerieG...you will find wonderful information here....now the only other question to stay away from...Can I go to Storm a long Bay swimming pool if I am staying at the Motel 6...snicker snicker.....Pool hopping (unless you are a DVC member) is also frowned upon....Welcome again....
