We have had Pizzafari pizza and I was wondering if the pizza at the other parks (Cool Wash, Catalina Eddies, etc ) is the same. Anyone know????

No, it's really all different. I live with a man who could eat pizza morning, noon and night 24/7/365. Trust me, he knows. I just asked him what his favorite Disney World pizza was and he said "that joint at Animal Kingdom Lodge". Meaning Mara. Second would be the Boardwalk/Spoodles take out window ("because they changed their sauce"). Third would be Port Orleans Riverside (not French Quarter because "it's not the same"). Reason - "it's so greasy!" He hates the stuff on Sunset Boulevard at Rosie's because the sauce is too chunky.

So, sample all the different pizzas at Disney World that you want!

Out of curiosity what's his favorite in the parks?? My kids will NOT eat pizza with a "chunky" sauce. So I will avoid those places. Thanks for your info!

I hate chunky sauce so thanks for the heads up!!!! :thumbsup2

Pizzafari is the only place that actually has an assembly line machine help make the pizzas. There was something about it on either the travel channel or the food network one time.

My personal opinion is that it is difficult to mass prodcue good tasting pizza. Disney does not do pizza very well. I really like Disney food, but the pizza is probably the worst main food item they offer.

We liked Pizzafari pizza. I mean it wasn't "the best ever" but tasty. That's why I was wondering/hoping if it all tasted like that. How about Toy Story Pizza Planet?? Is that good?

I second this completely. In fact I have a hard time finding any good pizza in the entire state of Florida :confused3 (of course I live about 5 minutes away from Old Forge PA, self-proclaimed pizza capital of the world) I've had pizza at Pizza Planet and the Pinocchio Village Haus in MK and they were both kinda lousy. But the kids ate it anyway :earboy2:

If you like cardboard with a hint of sauce on it, then yes :teeth:

I grew up with access to the best pizza places in Brooklyn and NYC, so I'm very picky, spoiled and a little snobbish about pizza :snooty: ! DH and I have tried pizza at WDW in 2 places, and that was enough for us to say "never again!" ;) Honestly, with so many other great choices, we don't bother with something that they just don't do very well, IMHO. The places we've tried were Pizzafari and Gasparilla's at the GF.

Unfortunately, the three places I mentioned are the only pizza places Mr. Pizza Man will eat at while at Disney World. As others have mentioned, Disney World pizza isn't the greatest.

Offsite, I'd say head to New York Pizza World on Highway 192. Just west of World Drive. Smaller place that looks like a dive but good pizza at great prices.

Yes, it's all created equal in my opinion. All equally bad. Our last trip no one could bring themselves to try it again. But... then again... I hail from Southern Ontario. The Pizza Capital of the World.
