All Time, HANDS DOWN favorite can't wait to see it

Love Actually :goodvibes

(Thanks to Snoopy for her recommendation - I own it & watch it every year).

LOL. Same with DH and I - first three years we watched it purely by chance and always loved it. Now, it is definitely a tradition for just the two of us.

Miracle on 34th Street

I like the oldest one best, but I'll watch all three.

I always loved and looked forward to "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" My kids like it too. . .but our new fave is "Elf". . .dang that is a great movie!

One that hasn't been mentioned, yet that is a hands down MUST see every season in our house is "Home Alone"! The other one I love every year is "Jingle All the Way" That one cracks me up and helps me keep my sanity!

I've got three I like to watch:

1) Elf....."You smell like meat and cheese"
2) Christmas vacation...love the wrapped cat
3) Christmas Story...Be sure to drink your Ovaltine!

It's a Wonderful Life. Gets me every time I see it. Full blown, snotty nose tears running doen my face crying. Love it!

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - brings back childhood memories.

It's a Wonderful Life

Elf

I wish there were some new Christmas themed movies out to enjoy. We've watched the standards so many times, that I get a bit bored with them.

The Family Stone :goodvibes

I had never heard of this movie, but it was on this morning. I loved it!! It is now one of my new favourites.

Otherwise, a must see for me is "A Child's Christmas in Wales".

My favorite is actually a nearly 60-year -old short that was produced in Chicago -- "Hardrock, Coco and Joe." I remember seeing this when I was a little kid, and a few years ago, a local furniture chain was offering a CD of several old Christmas cartoons -- I RAN in and got mine! I love it.

A Christmas Story, love the scene with the furnace:rotfl:

Elf, the gum gets me everytime:banana:

We love a lot of the ones that people have already mentioned...National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is probably our favorite. We always crack up, especially at the scene when Aunt Bethany is first arriving. "Is your house on fire, Clark?" :rotfl:

The Home Alone movies are great too, as is Elf and Christmas with the Kranks. One that I don't think has been mentioned yet that we also like is "I'll Be Home for Christmas" with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Jessica Biel.

And all the classic TV shows are must-watches every year too. I don't know what I'm going to do on Tuesday when Rudolph and the Grinch are on at the same time as Glee!

Miracle on 34th Street and it isn't Christmas without Elf! :rotfl:

Just watched on Thanksgiving a WGN Classic show with clips from Bozo, Ray Rayner, and Garfield Goose and they showed the classics:
Frosty the Snowman - Hardrock, Coco and Joe - and Suzy Snowflake!

A Charlie Brown Christmas. My local Christian radio station broadcasts the audio of the scene when Linus is telling Charlie Brown the true meaning of Christmas and is reciting the passage from Luke about the birth of Jesus. It tears me up every time I hear it.
