Does this happen to anyone else or am I the only true Airhead!!!!! OMG!!!! Why do I feel like I have so much to do????
I need another week!!!!! ONLY KIDDING!!LOLOLOLOL

No, you are not alone. Months of planning and the night before I am a wreck -- am I forgeting something? did I make all the PS I need? Is this the right resort for us? and on and on and on......
Then we get there and all of a sudden, everything is right with the world. Disney World anyway.

No, you're not the only one. Our son graduated on Friday, Sunday had a huge party at our home for him I had to get ready for, pack on Monday for 4 people for 2 weeks and be ready to leave on Tuesday morning at 6am. And by the way I have a cake busines and had a 4 tier wedding cake to decorate and deliver on that same weekend.....:earseek: But boy was it worth it!!!! Have a wonderful time!!

I am doing the same thing! Trying to make arrangements for the pets to be taken care of while we're gone, need oil change & tires rotated on van, etc. etc.

I'm also rethinking about all my PSs, or maybe I should have booked a different hotel, but I know it will al l work out!

I just made my schedule and its almost time to start ironing our clothes and packing! I've already bought a lot of my toiletries and I've started picking up the surprises I always get for the kids. I am starting to get excited!!!

Tomorrow is our single digit dance - we'll have a pizza party and play our Disney music!! Can't wait!

I usually cannot sleep the night before we leave and I end up cleaning the house! I hate coming home to a messy home!

I try to do as much as I can ahead of time, but it always seems the last few days/nights are a nightmare. Something at work or at home always happens I didn't expect that messes up my timing and it goes downhill from there. Then I start rearranging the luggage and forgetting if or where I packed something - and needless to say I am a nervous wreck. But, like everyone else said, after a day at Disney - everything is right with the world - and you realize all the planning was worthwhile. It's especially nice after the trip is over and my DH says "Thanks for all the hard work planning the trip - it was wonderful!!"

I did the same thing for our recent trip. I did end up changing some PSs after we got to WDW and had a better feel for the crowds and the pace we could handle.

One tip I picked up on this board came in really handy. I bought a hanging shoe holder at the dollar store and hung it in the closet to store all of our toiletries. It was great to have a place for all that stuff and not have it cluttering up the vanity in the bathroom. I would also cover our toothbrushes with a paper towel every day and put them in one of the slots before we left the room. I don't like having them out when housekeeping is in the room.

When it was time to go home, I just threw the shoe holder out. DH told me he thought I was crazy when I bought the thing but once there he really appreciated having it.

Have a great trip!

Don't worry your not alone :earsboy: My wife will start packing 2 weeks in advance and still feel like she is out of time the week before (I don't help with this since I can pack for anything in about 10 minutes - I travel on a very regular basis for work so its easy for me) Have a great trip !

I got so busy with all the end of the school year stuff, with ballet recitals, softball season ending, Girl Scout bridgining, etc. ... Well now I leave in 5 days, and I have still to make my PSs & really think my itinerary out. I was so organized last year & feel like I'm going by the seat of my pants this year. Today I'm doing tons of laundry so that we can start packing. Not to mention wrapping up everything for our business at the same time getting ready for the expo/convention next week (which is the real reason we get to go back to WDW so soon).

I thought I was the only one! I'm so stressed out I can't sleep even though I'm exhausted! My DD, DSIL, & DGD will be staying at our house to take care of our 2 dogs & 2 cats so I'm trying to clean the house, get a few groceries, etc. We are leaving Friday night when my DH gets home after working 3-11 shift. I'm trying to wash, pack, referee the kid's fights, etc. But by Sunday afternoon we'll be at CSR and all of this insanity won't matter anymore. I can't wait!!

Wow I am glad I am not alone. I always stress the last few days and sleeping the night before FORGET IT> This time we have a 3 day drive and a carnival cruise before we even get there. Saving the best for last. I always pack about two weeks ahead and then unpack and double check. Always seem to forget something. Thank God for WalMart. Always open. Have a great trip.

Missydisney I really laughed when I read your reply. EVERY trip down to Florida we have to stop at a WalMart. Almost every time we stop at one right on I95 in Pooler, Georgia. My DH thinks I forget something on purpose just to stop and shop!
