I just saw the updated opening list resorts with POP and AOA on it but not Allstars. I’m guessing by the time by the time my trip rolls around in early September I’d be be moved to POP or AOA.

Anyone else feel like maybe they might open one of the All Stars but not all three?
Or not at all? I’m not holding my breath on my Sep trip. I’ll take whatever they’ll give me but the unknown is killing me! 😬

It sounds like they will no longer be moving guests. If your resort is closed, you have to call and change it..paying any difference..or cancel.

It's looking like no All Stars through the end of the year, or at least they're not planning on it. That really irks me because it means the only Value resort left is Pop, which a) is a chunk more expensive because of the Skyliner and b) has the Skyliner. My partner is terrified of gondola rides, which means we'll have to either not go, pick another (more expensive) resort, Uber everywhere, or stock up on a lot of xanax!

Do they not have buses in addition to the skyliner?

At this point I don’t even know. I’m afraid of waiting it out and hoping they open All Star Music for our trip in November, it’s still closed and nothing affordable is available.

I wonder if they will let you keep your park reservations if you have to stay off site and its there fault.

I think if someone uses the advanced time to book because they had an onsite room and then move to an offsite hotel not included in the advance time, they will cancel the days.

Unfortunately, Disney doesn’t have to give you a reason to cancel a room...it’s oart of what they say when you book.

On normal days i know it goes this way ,guess we have to be hopefull. one thing I know about Disney is they have been really good to us in the past.

Where have you heard this? My travel agent has assured me that Disney will move me to an open resort since ASMo won’t be open. I’m booked for a late July arrival.

The newest language on the Website says people need to call to modify and if not, will be canceled Within 7 days Of check in.

Reports on the rumors board from someone with inside information has said that they will no longer be moving and that because the values now have an option...they only moved for no charge prior to July 11th is because onLy DVC was available.

So, based on that, it seems they have changed course...my friend that is a TA has also heard that the moves may no longer be done, but couldn’t get confirmation tonight.

So, what was known to them on Saturday, changed today as she was told then that no decision has been made for opening resorts and it was still only going to be DVC and Ft, Wilderness.

Not sure when your TA got that info, but if it wasn’t tonight, there is a chance it’s now different.

Just sharing so people are prepared in case this is what happens. I have read elsewhere people have been told they would not be moved for no charge...tomorrow we will know for sure.

As of the beginning of this year, they had one bus an hour to each EPCOT and DHS. No word on whether and how that will change when things reopen, but I assume one of the reasons for opening Pop/AOA before other values is that the Skyliner is much easier for facilitating social distancing (meaning only one family/group per cabin) than a bus would be.

Ok, I have forwarded this info to my TA so hopefully I will know more. Obviously my priority tomorrow is getting park reservations, but I was going to wait and have Disney move me out of ASMo (and probably to Pop) so I wouldn’t have to pay the upgrade fee. Now we’ll see if I will have to be the proactive one so I can keep my reservation! This whole thing has been a mess!

Where is this on the website? I'd like my husband to read it so we can make a decision. Thank you for all your help!

I agree! Like I said, my friend has been going crazy because things they are told one minute are different the next,

For all we know, tomorrow everyone will get even different info! I hope you get all your park days...I have two 2020 trips to do to start...not worrying about my 2021 stays yet so I don’t clog the system!
