I am planning a trip Nov 10-16 and was leaning towards the ASMu but now am wondering if ASMo might be a better choice. I was leaning towards ASMu because it is in the middle of the 3 resorts and seems to have a lot of activities. Then I started reading more and found out that some rooms at the ASMo are actually closer to ASMu's food court and bus stop so will likely being using ASMu's food court making it busier so would it be smarter to stay in Toy Story at ASMo? It is first time staying on-site .

The Toy Story Buildings at ASMo are actually the farthest away from ASMu. Plus, any request for a certain building or area is only a request and not a guarantee.

If you want to stay at movies and be close to ASMu, request a room in the Mighty Ducks section.

But again, since nothing is guaranteed, I don't think it matters which one you pick. If you want to be certain to be close to ASMu and the poolside activites, then you should reserve at ASMu.

Movies needs reburishment. Movies was nicer and more activites that any of the All-star guests can use. Sports was very nice also and I am not a sports person.

Since this is your first stay onsite, you have nothing to compare to. Movies is the resort most in need of refurbishing. It was a huge disappointment for us after staying at all of the other values. I couldn't wait to leave.

Movies is the most-crowded of the 3 All Stars because of the theming. Everyone wants to stay at Movies because their children are familiar with the movie characters. It's a great resort, but All Star Music is the best of the three.

Music is the least crowded, and truly has the most activities (and the only one with the nightly drive-in movies by the pool). We loved Movies, but we loved Music even more!

We've stayed at Sports twice (once by choice, and once because it was the only value available). We would not stay at Sports or Pop Century again, unless they were the only resorts available on the property that we could afford.

I think you'll enjoy either Movies or Music, but after staying at all 3, Music is by-far our favorite.

Thanks - your input helps - I think I will stick with my instincts and go with Music then. It is good to know that it is the least crowded because I got worrying that it might be the most crowded and busy being in the middle.

It's true that you can walk between the three All-Stars, but they are HUGE, and with the design of the resorts and the placement of trees and bushes, it does not seem like you can walk between the three. MOST people do NOT walk between the three All-Stars, so you don't need to worry about Music being in the middle and having others crowd your foodcourt or bus stop.

The resorts are well within walking distance of each other. When leaving the parks at night that is actually a big plus. You can hop on the first All Star bus that comes along and then have a 5 minute walk to your All Star. My niece and her dad did that one night when we were staying at the Music.

But I wouldn't think anyone would hop over for the food court, as they are pretty much the same.
