We have been staying at the All Star Movies resort for the past four days and have realized that it's much cheaper to purchase your drinks in the gift shop rather than the food court. Example...1 pint of milk is $1.00 in the gift shop, 1/2 pint is $1.29 in the food court. Orange juice is $1.50 for a pint in the gift shop and I think it's something like $2.99 for a much smaller size in the food court. Since the gift shop and food court are right next to each other, it's just as easy to swing buy the shop to get drinks before you go get your food. HTH someone!!!

Thanks for that great tip! DS (10) only drinks milk and juice (hates soda pop) so this will be important on our trip this week as we are on the super-budget plan this time around.

Great tip summerrluvv! Thanks for sharing. :)

How late is the gift shop open? November 22, I'll be checking in pretty late (close to 11:00) and this sounds like a great idea for me to pick up some juice for breakfast. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the heads up, summerrluvv!

Your welcome for the tip!! They are open until 11:30PM. They also sell a variety of entemanns (sp?) donuts in the 12 packs, potato chips, pringles. Also, they do sell 1/2 gallons of milk if you are renting a fridge, and I honestly don't remember how much they were, but I think around $2.69.

Hi summerrluvv- If you think the soft drinks are cheaper, check out the costs of the liqueur prices. Those refillable mugs come in handy for a mixed drink when you buy a bottle from the gift shop. Here's a tip for you, on our last two trips to ASMo ( 1 year apart ) I noticed that the 3rd dryer on the bottom on the left side usually ran without money. Once you get it started you didn't need to feed it anymore. Hope your having some great weather in WDW, up here on Long Island it's starting to feel a lot like winter.

Unfortunately we are back now!! :( We just got home about an hour ago and it's colddddddddd here!! I had to just turn the heat on!!

Thanks for the tip! We like to keep a small container of milk in our room for coffee (we take our own coffee maker) Now I know where to look first for our staples. Thanks, again.

We found the same holds true for beer, too. Since beer is sold in plastic bottles, it was much cheaper to by a beer or two and sit by the pool. We noticed the same thing at the Poly when we were there last year.

We eat quite a few meals at the food court and this is what we do about drinks. We always bring can drinks from home for our room. We just grab each of us a can drink or juice box and take it with us to the food court. We find a table and one of us sits there with the drinks while the other gets the food. Saves a LOT of money. We too buy milk in the gift shop to have in our cooler for our morning ceral.
