Can someone please tell me if they would stay in one room at the PO or connecting rooms at the All Stars. I have my husband myself and 3 children. We are thinking of either staying in one room at the PO, or putting us in one and the kids in the other room (connecting of course) at the All Stars Music. Any advice would help. Thanks! By the way we will be there in the end of Jan. if that makes a difference at all in the choice.

Well with 5 in the group I myself would go for the 2 room thing.

When we go over there are 4 of us me /wife/ 2 kids
and with all the stuff we bring and buy the room gets packed
fast.

Have a great trip.

Ron.

some of the rooms at POR have the trunnel beds, which would enable to sleep 5. these rooms might be a tad bit larger than AS so that would be a good thing. i vote for the moderates.:p

How old are the kids? 2 bathrooms may be a great advantage if they're at the age where they take a while getting ready.

Thank you so much for you help. And my kids are 9,8 & 5. Either way, we just can't wait to be there. And after we decide on the hotel we want to know what room and or building you would suggest that we ask to stay in. Thank you again for all your helpful advice and hints.

My advice to you would be stay at the AS. get a king size bed for yourselves and a connecting room for the kids. AS is a great place for kids to stay the decore is more for them. It is a nice hotel for mom and dad as well. You might want to think about which one you stay in. Considering what your kids like? As for which building to stay in there all nice I would just ask for one near the front. It's a long walk back to your room after a long day in the parks.

I have stayed at both, and I have 3 kids as well. It all depends on what is important to you. PO has a water slide, which was very important to my kids. I would also say that PO is much nicer in terms of landscaping, food court, gift shop, etc. Bus service is about the same. One room at PO was fine for us, kids aged 15, 13, and 9, but we spent little time in the room except for sleeping. Where your kids are smaller, having the extra room for when one is napping and the other two want to watch TV etc. may outweigh the water slide, nicer surroundings. I do have to say that I thought the rooms themselves were about the same in quality, only PO was little bigger. Either way you will have a GREAT time!

At the All Stars you'd have two bathrooms!

Don't forget to check http://www.mousesavers.com for discounts. We got $49 at the All Stars last trip. They had some $49 codes recently, but I don't think there are any now. I think new codes are coming out in August.

Thanks once again for the help and information. I am pretty sure that we are going to go with the All Stars Music. Two bathrooms has won me over. Now which building should we request so we can be close to all the action?? We are not worried at all about noise. (we are usually the ones making all of it anyway) We want to be close to the pool and food and buses. Is that too much to ask for? I hope not. If so, then I would have to say that close to the food and buses is at the top of things we want. I have done some research of my own and it looks like either Toy Story or Damilations would be the choice for us? But which one?? Help!! Thanks. So much to consider for that perfect disney experience.

ASMu.

Calypso would be closest to the pool/food court & bus stop, but it is now considered a "preferred" view & will cost you $10 a night more.

Next closest would be Jazz which still is very close to all of the above.

Hope this helps.

OOOOOppps! I wrote Music but I meant to say Movies. Sorry for that. And thank you very much for the helpful information. It is greatly appreciated.

Movies ...o.k.

Fantasia would be the closest to the pool, food court & bus stop, but again it's considered "preferred" We stayed in Toy Story in January & it was great! Dalmations would probably work just as well.
