All Star Value Resort room placement? Please help

Hello. We are planning on staying at the All Star Movie Resort in June and we are SO confused as to where to request our room. We want to be in the Buzz Lightyear building because our 3 sons LOVE Buzz but the reservation person at Disney said if we stay in a different resort we will be able to look out the window and see Buzz. We have also heard that you can stay in the Movie resort and still look out and see Buzz. If this makes any sense to anyone and you have some advice for us we would surely appreciate it!

We've stayed at ASMovies three times (101 Dalmatians, Fantasia and Toy Story). Perhaps someone else knows differently, but I can't see how you could see Buzz from another resort. The Toy Story section is at the far end of ASMovies, with the playground, etc. on one side and parking on the other three sides. I recall being able to see part of Buzz from the playground, and of course you can tour Andy's Room and see it for yourself. Maybe you can see it from some Fantasia rooms? I'd request the Woody Section with a courtyard view if you're hoping to see Buzz from your window. If you're in a room on the Buzz side, then you'll be on the same side as Buzz and will have a straight on view of Woody from the courtyard rooms. Make sense?

Good luck with your requests and have a great trip! We don't head back until a surprise trip in January 2006, but we're again hoping for a view of the gang from Toy Story.

You cannot stay in the building of Buzz and see him.....you'd have to be in the building across the courtyard (Bldg. #9--Woody)........ Here's a map of the resort...maybe it'll help you.........

I think either what was meant that is to actually "see" Buzz from your room you have to stay in they building accross from Buzz (the Woody building). It is the same resort/hotel. Buzz and Woody are accross from each other. So to see Woody (from your room) you stay in Buzz, to see Buzz (from your room) you stay in Woody.
