All Star Sports

We are leaving the weekend 05-20-05 for Disney/universal and Islands of Adventure. I booked a room at All Star Sports and I was wondering if anyone has stayed @ All Star Sports before? Last year in May we stayed at Pop Century and the kids loved it. Then we went back in November and stayed at French Quaters and the kids were not crazy about it (although they did like the boat ride from the hotel to Downtown Disney and the pool due to the fact that it has a slide, which my husband got stuck in LOL ). We also went in March of this year and tryin to save a few bucks stayed off site NEVER AGAIN that was a huge mistake, So when we decided to go back this weekend I booked at All Stars sports but we've never stayed there, the website looked really nice. What can I expect?

We went to Disney in January '05. It was our first trip their and we had an absolute BLAST!! We stayed at the Sports Resort and it was fabulous!! It was economical and what a huge resort for the price. The resort staff was always helpful and made our stay a very pleasant one. We're going back in January of 2006 and we are definitely staying at the Sports resort again. Just wanted to add that we also enjoyed the fact that the buses picked up and dropped off at the sports resort first which was a bonus. The food court food was OK and it does have a little section with a little choice of healthier stuff. We stayed in the "Surf's Up" building facing directly toward the large pool. The rooms are somewhat small, but that didn't bother us in the least because the only time we were in our room was to sleep!! Hope you have a great time and we can't wait...... we're counting down!! 8 more months and we'll be back!!

We just stayed there last month. We had never stayed at a value previously. It had all of the amenities that you need. We were pleasantly surprised. Just keep in mind that it's nothing fancy but it is colorful and fun. We enjoyed the pool everyday. We also liked that the Sport's bus stop is the first to load and unload of all the All Stars. I would stay here again.

I stayed there in April. Its a nice place, pretty basic amenities, but the scenary is pretty neat. I didn't eat at the food court because it was pretty crowded. The gift shop had a lot of stuff. Pools were nice, the baseball one tended to be less crowded since its smaller. Its a nice place, hope you have a blast

Stayed there on our very first trip to WDW! We loved it, stayed in the football section so we were pretty close to everything.

The one great thing about assports is that you are the first ones on the resort buses....

We are going to asmusic this time around....so we'll be 2nd to board the resort bus!

Being I am the only girl in my family (even the dog is a boy) we had a great time! We were in the Tennis section and the boys and hubby loved the sports theming.

I was pleasantly surprised.

WE stayed at the the AS SPorts in Oct 03 with two 3 1/2 yr old boys and a six month old girl. THe boys loved the football field (neither knew a thing about football but they loved running up and down the field.) The pools were fun. We had the footcourt for breakfast each morning. Food was good. DH and I could share meals with the kids and there was always plenty to eat. We were in the Football building which was pretty convenient with the little ones. We were on the outsidew of the building overlooking some trees instead of the pool/play areas so we had quiet rooms. We used the refillable mugs. Boys loved the pink lemonade. The best part was being on the bus before the other AS hotels. Sports is the first pick-up and drop-off for the buses. We always had seats which was nice with the little ones. The buses were timely and we never waited long. We would stay there again.
