Just a few quick questions-my friend and her family are leaving sunday to stay at allstarsports. Does anyone have any of those insider tips-best time to use pool? best time for transport? or any others?...
Also, is she entitled to early morning opening ? When is that? Any June disney info would be great.:Pinkbounc

We've stayed at the ASsp, now we stay at the ASmo as it's bigger and has 2 pools.
In june, the pool at ASsp will be busy most any time. It's not like you're going to swim laps, so my advice is to go when you want to and just enjoy. Buses to all the Parks leave every 10 minutes or so from the front of the resort, once they check in they should wander around a bit to get their bearings. The bus stop signs will tell you which loading area is for which park.
As far as the general "June Information", get on allears.net and look at the park hours, parade times, etc.
If your party hasn't made PSs for meals yet, I'm not sure how easy it will now be to get into some of the eateries. We make ours 90 days out.
Finally, if it's your first trip, just know you will NOT see and do everything. That's why you HAVE to go back! Pick a pace that works for you and have fun.

ASSp will be bustling with activity since its summer. The pools will be crowded but there are two pools, the main pool and the quiet pool. You can also use any of the pools att he other all atars but it is not a short walk. If it rains and the pool is closed (usually for lightning) ask the lifeguard for the scavenger hunt. It's fun for the kids to do while it rains and there is a little suprise when you finish it.

The buses are great at the All Stars and in all the times we have stayed here we have never had a problem. In the afternoon they may consolidate the All Star buses but ASSp gets dropped off first.

They will be eligible for EE since they are resort guests.

Be prepared for the arcade. Bring quarters and get ready to spend them. Some games give out tickets and the kids can get little trinkets for these.

There are two pools at the Sports. One outside Stadium Hall, near Surf's Up buildings and one past the Touchdown buildings, in front of the Home Run buildings.

Do take the time to look at the resort map and get your bearings when going to and from Stadium Hall. It can be a little confusing some times. My DH usually relies on me to make sure we are going in the right direction. LOL

They might even think about purchasing refillable mugs, $11.99. They can be used for the entire trip at the resort for Sodas, hot choc, tea (Iced & Hot), & coffee. You can go get drinks at the drink station as long as the food court is open.

Also be aware that the food courts can get very busy as times. If they have never been to the All Stars at all, then one thing that will help them is that the food courts, you get your meals at the different stations and then pay for everything at one time before you go sit down. If they are going to get the mugs, they purchased them either with their first meal in the food court or prior if they are going to use them before that. After they purchase the mugs, they don't pay for drinks unless it is orange juice, milk or water and anything that is in the cooler in the food court area. Anything that they can get at the drink station is free.

We, personally like the Sports, where alot of people prefer Music or Movies. The buses are great. For Early Entry (EMH), they usually have less waiting time between buses for the park that is having EMH.

Hope they enjoy their trip.
