All Star Sports

We stayed at Sports for the first time in August. We've previously stayed at Music and Movies. Sports was just fine. We are not "sports" people. We looked around the resort and it was cute in its own way, just as are Music and Movies. We don't spend enough time at the resort to care whether or not it has sports, music or movie icons anyway. We are always on the go. Our room at Sports was just fine, too. In fact, we will be at Sports again December 8th!

Hey, I'll be at AS Sports Dec 8th also. (Dec 8th-16th to be more specific). I've stayed at POP six times and enjoyed it, but last May decided to to try AS Sports, just for something different. I was very pleasantly surprised, The CMs were all very nice, I was surprised to find a king size bed in my room (didn't request it), room was always clean, buses were great (better than at POP), and the only noise I ever heard was one family every morning talking and laughing as they passed my room. It got to where I listened for that little boy's squeals as my alarm clock to get up. He sounded so cute. Other than that one family every morning, I never heard a sound. I was also there this Sept 29th-Oct 7th and tried AS Music. Personally I preferred AS Sports (just because they are the first bus stop).

I had heard a lot of negative things about Sports and didn't really want to stay there but my sister invited me along in August (and I took my DGS 9). The only room she could get was at Sports. Turned out great. Of course by the end of the day we were so exhausted from being in the parks all day, we fell right asleep and didn't hear a sound until our wake up call. My DGS didn't even hear that in the mornings! We enjoyed the food court and my DGS and I walked to Music one evening and looked around. Our room at Sports was much cleaner than our room at Movies back in April.

If anyone has any suggestions for fun and dinning out side the parks,on,or off property I'd love to here them.I know we will be going to Capone's Dinner theater but I'm not sure what else to do thats new to them.I have 3 daughter 12,12,And 14.

We stayed at Sports in Sept...Building 1...we liked it...first pick up and drop off for buses to the values...loved the food court...would definately stay again, housekeeping was good and the rooms were clean...bathroom was the only thing that really looked dated and we were in a non-refurbished room.

I noticed mentions of room remodeling at Sports does anyone know which buildings these are or if any buildings are closed for remodeling?

Good luck to your sons team!! Whats their team name?I've always been a huge football fan and a cheerleader myself so it was only natural to have my girls involved in sports.It alot of fun and you get to hang out with other parents.So obviously the Touchdown building in a must!
2006 was our first yr at Nationals and my twins squad Jr Varsity(7th grade,my girls were 6th graders)took home 3 1st place and over all high score,and my oldest on Varsity took home 1 second pl and 2 third place.I was so pround! Now I'm excited for this years events.

Does anyone know if I can get something special ordered and delived to our room before check in or during our stay? A banner or balloons something that says like Good luck at nationals? I just thought it would be a nice touch

There's a couple of affiliate company's that do gift baskets, etc. Try doing a thread search. I know I read a few weeks ago. In fact, I think there is someone who is a member here at DIS that does baskets as a business. From what I remember, they can be any theme you would like. There were some pics, and they looked cute.
