My apologies if I missed this in another thread, but has there been any word on if/when the All Star resorts might be re-opening?

No opening date announced yet. Opening dates have only been announced for those resorts opening through mid-October, but Disney is not taking reservations for the All-Stars even for 2021. That doesn't necessarily mean the All-Stars won't open before then, but . . . .

When I asked a CM on chat this very same question for our Nov trip, they said there were no plans to open All Star Music (the hotel I was registered in) for Nov, so I switched it online myself to the Pop.

We would prefer to be at an All Star to save a few bucks, but we do have a standard room at Art to make sure we have a room. I figure if spots are available we could switch.

Were you originally booked at All-Stars and moved? If so, were you charged to move? (you should have had price protection).

DD and I had an ASMo reservation for November. I called to ask about it and there were no plans to the resort reopen, so we were moved to Pop at no charge. (at that time I was offered the choice of Pop or AoA), decided to see where things land and let the GS CM choose for us :). (She was majorly helpful with our family trip's August reservation!)

I would imagine if All-Stars open, it'll just be announced suddenly as some other things have been.

We were at all star movies as part of a land/sea deal but disney canceled the whole deal. Had to re-book for early next year. Only charge we had was the higher price art is commanding

JMO,All-Star Resorts will open the minute Cheerleading/Dancing Competitions,The 15s,etc. return.

So it could be quite a while.

I'm booked and linked in MDE for Music in Dec 2021.

Wondering if a small part of not taking music reservations this year is because of the refurb?

Did you already have your ASMu reservation for Dec 2021 before they stopped taking reservations in early June? From what I understand, they are now (since June 24) taking 2021 reservations for some resorts, but the All-Stars are not on the list. Regardless, Dec 2021 is a long ways away. Things should be much different by then.

Yes, a week before things were pulled. Some people are having difficulty linking their reservations at All Stars & PO and CM's are saying it is beacause they aren't listed for opening but that's not true.

Dec 2020 or Dec 2021? I didn't think they had opened Dec 2021 reservations yet. Eagerly awaiting booking an October 2021 trip, but have been told they are only taking reservations through September 26, 2021 (though a CM on chat told me otherwise).

Dec 2021. Ever After were the TA we booked through. Others such as VH were taking bookings for then too before they were pulled. So were Disney but without the flights.
