All-Star Resorts' Lobby Walls

The "Hall of Fame" walls with the Celebrities' pictures are going bye-bye in favor of Disney themed murals.

Music is complete,Movies is underway with Sports to follow.

It is a major change to the look.

What do you think?

I like it. It is themed, but less cluttered looking. That is a much more narrow space than the lobby at Pop, where I think the displays fit much better.

I think its looks ok. I like the old look as well, but during the day it has lots of glares and reflections going on from the sun shining through, so this might be better.

This is the walkway between pool/rooms and bus depot right? Not the check in area/lobby. That is entrance to food court?

I LIKE IT! It makes it look wider and more open / pull your eyes way up (had no idea that had an atrium ceiling) and so it feels bigger. Removing the celebrities it becomes timeless.

The new wall at Sports is finished.

It is nice but I will miss the Athletes' pictures.

Sports was my first Resort,so I guess I am feeling nostalgic.

Much more appropriate for a Disney resort. Wish they’d update the theming of Movies’ buildings to reflect something more modern and timeless - Herbie the Love Bug, Fantasia 2000 & Mighty Ducks screams 1990s. Doubt they’ll spend the $$$….

Thanks for sharing these pictures! I think the murals look even better when you see them in the context of the whole lobby. The fact that they take up a whole wall enhances the expansive feeling of the space, and they tie in with the cartoon art style used in the food courts, as well as the bright colors used on the outdoor decorations, which gives the whole resort a more unified feel. They also just look really fun and cheerful--I'd love to walk by these every morning!

The lobby was under renovation when I was there is August. I large painted mural might be nice.

Kinda wish the chairs weren't there or on other side so folks could pose and take pictures in front of the wall.

Today they moved the seating to other wall!!!!! YEAH!

I wonder why they didn't leave them so the mural would be completely exposed.

There is a CM door on that wall-maybe that is why,but all they have to do is make sure it is not blocked with the furniture.

It is weird. All the chairs and sofas are bunched together without gap pushed all the way towards the lobby next to the people selling toys from a cart. Not a cohesive plan at all. It would be so much more fun to be able to stand near a character you liked and get a photo. There are plugs on that wall so maybe for guests to charge????
