 We just booked our 7 night vacation at Disney All Star Movies  . I would love any information anyone has to share on this resort. We have two sons one will be 4 and the other 2.

How are the bus lines :crowded: ; do you wait forever :hourglass ? I've heard the value resorts share busses. Is that true? Is this resort far from the parks? :confused3

Thanks for all the help!!

We stayed at All Star Sports when our kids were younger, and I can tell you the buses there run continuously; in fact better service than either POR or CSR. The buses pick up all All-Star Sports first, then if not full on to Music, then Movies last. But since the Sports buses filled up pretty fast, other, empty buses would move on to the others, so you won't have to wait more than 10 mts. tops, probably. The only long waits for buses we had were after a park had closed for the day, and mobs of people left at the same time; but that was true for the other resorts as well as All Stars.

I have stayed at All Star Movies twice, and the busses never shared with the other All Stars. :confused3

The resort is fantastic! My kids love the Movies resort and always ask to stay there (we have since outgrown it by having twins). The theming can't be beat for the ages of your children. We love the foodcourt, pool, and playground. We always request the Mighty Ducks building because we enjoy the walk and the "hockey pool" as my kids call it. Enjoy!

We stayed at All Star Movies back in March and loved it. We are going back next month. Our kids were 2 and 3 at the time and loved the Toy Story building we stayed in. The little play area is nice. They also liked the playground and the movies showing on a television in the food court.

I really liked the food court there. Lots of variety. It can get crowded, especially at breakfast time. We usually ate in our room - I brought bagels and peanut butter and cereal bars. We usually get the refillable mugs and did at ASMo, but I'm not sure we'll do it again. It was a bit of a walk to the food court from our room, so we didn't use them that much. (We used them the most at WL where the Roaring Forks was just a quick ride down the elevator.)

I thought the bus service was great. We never waited in long lines - as a matter of fact, we noticed that by day three, whatever line we got in, that bus came in next. We kept saying "We're in the zone!" We did have times when our bus would stop at other All Star resorts on the way back from the parks, but it wasn't all the time. I think we went directly to the parks upon being picked up. Since sometimes the buses do stop at other parks, like in the mornings, sometimes you will get on a bus that already has people on it. But we never had to stand.

We also liked being close to AKL. We took a taxi over there for $7 and checked out the hotel and ate at Boma. Loved that too.

It was too cold to go in the pool, but it looks great. The kiddie pool area is nice too.
