Was POP and ALMo completely booked or could you just not get the AAA rate? If so you may want to go ahead and book one of them without the AAA rate and keep calling back to see if a AAA rate comes available. I made reservations this past weekend for the end of this month, had my heart set on CSR and when I called there was nothing available so I booked CBR, I called back the next day and there were rooms available at CSR (and I got the AAA rate). People start canceling rooms as it gets closer to arrival day (I think room-only reservations have to be canceled 5 days prior otherwise you are charged for one nights deposit). Besides 2 nights at CSR I also had 2 nights at ALMu booked but after reading all the great reviews about POP I switched our reservation (and got the AAA rate). Good luck!!
We've stayed at ASSports we wanted Movies but it was not avali. Is there a certain reason you wanted movies over music besides the decor? Because really that is all ther is for difference. All of the All Stars are connected by parking lots you can walk over to movies and look around havelunch or whatever. I think you will enjoy Music. It seems to be the quieter of the 3. Have a great trip!
I've stayed there a few times and thought it was quieter than ASSP. Also you can walk over to ASMo to visit and use the pool since these resorts are sister resorts.
As far as a AAA rate, did you book a package or just the room thru AAA? If you're looking for just the room rate, call CRO directly and see what they have available - it's worth a shot. And as Jeanne B said, keep trying for ASMo or POP - somtimes they open up thru someone else's cancellations!!!
we have stayed at the Music. we had a great time. we have also stayed at Movies. it was clean, front desk very friendly. food court is good cause they have anything a kid would like. lol. have a good trip.
I personally didn't find much difference between ASMo and ASMu. The layout of the food court is different, but that's no biggy. Last time I was there (2002) the ASMu was more landscaped than the ASMo. That could have changed in 3 years though (it made the ASMu prettier). The only problem I had was the bathrooms. They are this horrible green color (it only bothered me, it probably not that bad). That's my two cents!

I thought the same thing! We stayed Thanksgiving week and had no problem with noise at all. The food court gets crowded but they all do during peak seasons.
Music is our favourite! Having stayed at Movies, and swam and eaten at all 3, Music is by far the quietest of the 3. And it's beautiful to walk around! Wish I were going too!
