All star music?

we may take a trip in early nov. that we had not planned on! YAY! so tell me about all star music. pros and cons.

All Star Music has a beautiful little rose garden with a fountain by Jazz Inn that we love. The Calypso buildings (preferred rooms) are the most convenient to the food court and buses, so if preferred is in the budget, I would recommend staying in one of those. The resort is spread out so that some of the furthest rooms are a bit distant. ASMu is the middle of the three AS resorts, so when buses are shared it is the second stop.

For an adults only trip, it is my favourite AS resort. ASSp is perhaps slightly better laid out and has the first bus stop, but you can always walk across to there if you would like.

There is no huge difference between the three AS resorts except the theming, really. ASMu has a really nice theme and we have always enjoyed the food court there.

Pros: A very pretty, fairly quiet, resort.
Cons: Twice I have booked a preferred room location, and I didn't get it either time.

My favorite Value Resort. Stayed there many time before becoming a DVC owner.
Very quit resort, especially if you stay toward the back (country fair, Rock & Broadway).
The trade off is it is quite a hike to food court and bus stops.
More adult oriented than rest of the values.
Theming, in my opinion, not quite as obnoxious as other values.
Great quiet (piano) pool.
Great bar.
Usually has better availability then other values

The far end of the resort is a greater distance from the bus stop than the other values except Little Mermaid at AoA.

We stayed there last year and I thought it was super cute. I loved the broadway section and the rose garden PP mentioned. We had a suite but my in laws had a single room. They had a few maintenance issues, but they were resolved quickly. Food court is typical and food was good. We did not have issues with buses but we were at a quiet time of year.

Try to get a room closest to the main building.. otherwise it can be a long walk.

we always stay at music. mostly because it is always included in the free dining or discounts. but that being said its a great resort. we drive so we love getting a room on the first floor in the broadway building close to the parking lot but still with a garden view. the walk can be long yes but still its such a nice resort for the price you pay. have a great trip!
