All Star Music Resort anyone??

So....tight budget strings this year has forced us to downgrade to the All stars Music resort ( as it was the cheapest Disney resort possible ) has anyone been recently?? would love some feedback. We have only booked standard rooms. Will they be miles away from the food court? We are heading down May 6th for 5 nights. It was a choice between off site and value so we chose to stay onsite to get extra magic hours and be close to the parks for lunchtime swims etc. Please set my mind at ease ....we are normally CBR regulars. Is there any particular building I could be requesting? Thanks in advance.

Nothin wrong with the Allstars. I'd rather stay at any onsite resort than the nicest hotel off site. No you won't be miles from the food court either. The resort isn't that big. Go and enjoy.

We've stayed at ASMu twice, and we really like it. I would request a room in Jazz section, but Broadway wasn't bad either.

We've been once and we liked it compared to ASMo, which seems busier and noisier. You will enjoy your time .
