Please give me some help on a good/convenient location at the All Star Movies. Would like to have a decent view, easy access to a pool and bus stop plus eatery. Also kids love the Dalmations, so it needs to be in the Dalmation buildings. Thanks!
Last time we were at ASMo we had room 1913 in Dalmations. It did not face the courtyard but looked out over the main entrance of Cinema Hall. I wasn't sure how I was going to like it - was kind of worried about noise from the buses going in & out. But we had no problem with the noise and the view wasn't bad either. We were right over a pretty flower garden, there was lots of nice landscaping and I liked being able to see some of the comings and goings. It was also just 1 or 2 doors down from the stairwell on the end of the building closest to Cinema Hall - so it was close to everything. Hope this helps.
From what I recall, any location in the Dalmations buildings will be fairly convenient to everything. In 1999, we stayed in the Mighty Ducks building, and walked between the two Dalmations buildings when we went between our room and the main lobby, food court, bus stops, etc. You may want to request a room with a courtyard view, rooms on that side will be slightly closer to the pool, but regardless, if you get Dalmations, you won't have a very far walk to anything.
"Which buildings are located where, and are closest to what?
Cinema Hall is home to the front desk, lobby, food court and store. If you exit the back of Cinema Hall and turn LEFT you will find the Toy Story Buildings (there are two of them). Exit Cinema Hall to the RIGHT and you will first come upon the 101 Dalmatians Buildings (two of them); then the Mighty Ducks Pool; and surrounding the pool, the Mighty Ducks Buildings (again, there are two of them).
If you exit Cinema Hall and walk straight back, you will arrive first at the Fantasia Pool. The two Fantasia Buildings border the far side of the Fantasia Pool. As you continue walking back, you will then see the two Love Bug Buildings."

A co-worker of mine just returned from staying at ASMo and loved Fantasia 8.
