So does this mean that if someone books a standard room at AS Movies for say the end of September, you now have a BETTER chance of getting a renovated room than a preferred booking?

I think you would have the same odds in both because they both have 1 building not finished and 1 building being worked on

It seems then I have a pretty good chance of getting a renovated room, yes? Because IF (big if I know) they finish standard renovations in the building they are currently renovating by the end of August, then begin renovations in the LAST standard building in AS Movies, wouldn't we then be guaranteed a renovated room? I would imagine so since they can't let us stay in a building undergoing renovation, and all the rest will have already been renovated, yes?

Fingers crossed in November we get a new preferred room we were in a non renovated room last year

Yes if they’re done with the current building and working on the last one you should be guaranteed a renovated room.

Yup, this is the big question... I wonder how soon after they finish one building do they wait to start the next? If they plan to start the next renovation as soon as they finish the last one our odds may be pretty good. Or perhaps the plan is to have all renovations either done or started in time for GE, which does seem possible at this point (we are still in May)?

We are staying at ASM in November, I'm not super knowledgable about this resort, but we paid for a prefferred room, which buildings are prefferred please? And have they been renovated yet? Thanks

Preferred rooms are in buildings 1, 4, 5, 8, 9 and 10.

If you look at the first post of this thread I put dates so you can vaguely see how quickly they started a new building after one was finished. I say vaguely because they are based on first hand resorts and sometimes we don’t get any for weeks at a time

I was at Toy Story last year for last week of September to early October

My building was completely renovated but was told they were taking a short break to start another building

Thanks ! I’ve selected toy story as my main preference, and then I’ll wait and see which other section is completely done before selecting my next one ! Hopefully they’ll finish Fantasia before November...

My guess is they’ll finish with Fantasia. I’m not sure when they plan to be done though

Has anybody had eyes on the resort in the last week or so? I know there's a dalmatian building and a mighty ducks building in progress, but I just wondered how close to complete they might be, specifically the mighty ducks building. We are 2 weeks out booked in a standard, and I'd prefer mighty ducks for location, but absolutely would prefer a renovated room above all else. Just wondering if I should switch my request to love bug.
