Well, I just returned 3 weeks ago from Disney, 10 days @ WL and I am estatic that I am able to return in just one week!

It will only be my son and I this time(1/17-1/21), I was able to snag a room today at All Star Movies(preferred only available with AP rate)....

I've never been to this resort, they only value I've been to is Pop...
Can anyone tell me which room, location, etc I should request??
Where can I see pictures? I'm assuming "Movies" share buses?

Thanks All!

I just requested "Fantasia" 3rd floor, is this a preferred and closer to the bus stop and food court?

We like staying in Toy Story. It is close to everything, yet still pretty quiet. Also, by far the coolest section (visually) in my opinion. I have stayed at all the values several times and that is my favorite.

I am in a similar situation. My daughter wanted to stay in All Star Movie and they only had Preferred Rooms available. Never stayed there before and wondering if there is a certain building/area I should request?

Here's a map to help. Fantasia is great as long as you aren't on the back end. I'd asked for pool view or a room close to the elevator. When I used to stay at ASMo, I used to ask for Toy Story but when I was put there as a preferred room I asked to be downgraded and was given Mighty Ducks, loved it because it was quiet, its own pool, laundry machines, and close to parking and we use our own car anyway. One thing Disney missed out on was it ws the first time we left the property to eat at restaurants on 192.

Fantasia is Preferred along with Dalmations and Toy Story (supposedly only the rooms closest to the lobby are preferred for these buildings)

What about 101 Dalmations bldgs? I think that is the theme my daughter would enjoy the most.

I have read alot of people like Toy Story better, I think my son would like that one too, I notice two buildings on the map(9 & 10), which is closer? Are they both preferred?

We've always requested Fantasia and have never been disappointed. We love ASMov, during your visit you will probably share busses with the other All Stars. We visit in summer, when it is packed so we have never shared a bus.

I requested Fantasia, but 2nd doubting now...Is this a preferred section because of the pool??
We don't use the pools and would rather be closest to the food court and buses, should I request another building? We have a preferred room ressie.

Most of Fantasia is fairly close to the food court. I'd prefer Toy Story, just because it's so cute and my kids love Toy Story, even now.

We stayed in Fantasia Bldg5 in the first room on the first floor and it was great. It was the closest room to food court, buses, kiddie pool and playground.

We have a preferred room for upcoming trip. It will be in the Fantasia building. Roll in Shower room. I believe the building with the ballerina. So, does that mean our room will overlook the pool? CM when I got the room told me it was poolview?

Thank you

Charleyann

We stayed at the Dalmations (in the building closest to the food court/reservation desk) and it was a very short walk to the pool (1 minute) and other amenities (2 mins to shuttle).

Fantasia was closer to the pool but the Dalmations is closer to the parking lot.
