All Star - Bus or Drive?

Getting to the parks, is it best to drive to HS and Epcot? Or do you prefer the bus?

We have done both. It really takes about the same amount of time in the end. It tends to be a little less walking on the bus because they drop you off close and you don't have to walk to the tram, drive to the gate, and them walk to the entrance. The big pro of driving is you are guaranteed a seat in both directions and you definitely are not on the buses.

I am always as drive person. I like to be in charge of my transportation I guess and not have to wait on a bus - and especially not have to wait on a crowded bus.

We drive down, park the car and don't get in it again until we leave to go home. It's just easier for us not to have to worry about traffic, parking and added bonus, we can have a refreshing adult beverage and not worry about it.

Drive everywhere except MK, bus gets you much closer & faster than a car.

If it's holiday time, always bus. Gridlock on campus Christmas week is a Thing.

We get out of our car when we arrive and do not get back into it until the vacation is over and we leave. I think the transportation is great.

This would be our main reason, since none of us want to drop our adult drinks and be the designated driver. Leave it to Mickey!

Bus - always. we leave our car at the airport and don't look back. If the wait for the bus was really that big of a deal then we aren't truly on vacation.

Count me down for another one who "parks the car and doesn't see it until we leave". I just don't want to have to worry about driving, traffic, parking lots, etc... Plus I like to have a drink or 2, and don't want to worry about it. Sure, sometimes the busses take a few extra minutes, but I'm not in a rush, I'm on vacation!

And,to us,a super fun part of a WDW vacation is LITERALLY meeting people from all over the World on the WDW buses!

And that wouldn't happen in our car!

We prefer driving.

FWIW just because you don't take the bus doesn't mean you don't get the opportunity to interact with folks It's not like my husband and I had bubbles around us when we drove, using the parking trams or for MK used the monorail or the ferry Lots of opportunities for conversation to be had.
