I think this has been asked before, but everyone gets these 5X notifications from either a postcard or an email right? No one has had success calling and asking?

I hadn't received my postcard and called to check to see if it was available to me. It was. A few days later I received the postcard (which could be mixed up in junk mail) and an email. In the past I usually only received one or the other. It can't hurt to call. When I called they gave me the phone number to call as well as my code. Call, what can it hurt. 800 300 8575

I assume you need sign up for this and it is not "automatic" although I am not sure why you would have to sign up to get extra bonus points, like who wouldn't want that??

Anyway, is there a way to sign up for this online? Do I need to call for it? Can it be retro for our purchase in Oct and Nov? We use our Disney Visa for everything and pay it off at the end of the month - tons of charges for grocery, gas, etc.

Yes, as long as you sign up by Dec 31, you will get all the bonus for Oct 1-Dec 31. You may have had a threshold and certain categories for the bonus, but if you happened to have met them, you will receive the extra 4 percent. Call and they will give you the phone number to sign up and your code number.

You're welcome. You did get a hard offer to make but at least you did get it. Maybe the next time you get the offer, it will at least have a lower threshold. I was very lucky this time. Usually I have the 4 categories, but this time no categories-it's for all purchases and for over $250. I haven't received my bonus portion for October yet so I'll wait and see one more stmt to see if all works out for me.

OK, just a follow-up to my post about our missing rewards dollars. They've finally been posted to our account as an "adjustment". I'm glad they're there -- it's just really annoying that we had to fight to get what they'd promised.

Glad to hear it. I hope ours are posted like they are supposed to be. Well actually like they say now. In the past I always received the bonus portion in the next month's statement. Well, this time not so. I called and the CM said 6-8 weeks, yes, I know that's what the offer says (and always did) but on past offers I always got them in the next stmt. I hope I get at least Oct and Nov by my Jan 26 stmt since we're going to WDW the beginning of Feb.

I just called because we did not get the extra bonus points and she said I won't see them until my NEXT statement in jan. for the month of oct. then nov. and dec. in feb. and march. We did recieve the 1% so far. She said it will be under promotion. I hope we get them we are using this card for everything. Paying it off every month.

I just got a reminder email from Chase Visa restating my offer and saying to sign up (already signed up) Now just to get some of those dollars. I hope I get the Oct in Dec and Nov in Jan. A month behind when I have received the bonus in the past.

Anyways, I'm now curious to see if we get the regular rewards PLUS 5x or if it's just 4x bonus plus the original 1x already awarded....I suppose we'll see when next months statement cuts!

They post the regular 1x as usual. The bonus 4 x is on ACTUAL month not your statement month. You have to keep track of your spending by actual month to figure the extra. Don't forget that the threshold is for each month if you have one. Also, in the past we always got the bonus for example for Oct. on our November stmt. Our statement cycle is very late in the month and that was what happened for past promotions. This one- we did not receive the October bonus portion on the November stmt. Hopefully it will post on the Dec one. I was hoping the bonus would post in the subsequent month as in the past since we are going to WDW early Feb. Looks like we won't have the Dec bonus in that stmt. Hopefully we will have the rest.

Yes, we were lucky this time and had only a $250 threshold as well and all purchases. This was the first time for the ALL purchases offer as well as the $200 limit (in the past $100) They have always posted one month at a time as well. Yes, I wish I'd known in Sept. I charged a few large purchases that could have waited until Oct 1, but I am still almost up to the $200 limit for the extra dollars. We should have the Oct bonus portion by Dec stmt. If not I guess it's just more calls. This is the first time I've had to call on getting bonus dollars. Yes, I guess that last email was a reminder, because as long as you sign up by Dec 31, you will get the bonus for the entire time. That's a good thing I guess as long as you've been making any thresholds or purchase types. I double checked to see if I was indeed signed up and the recording said I was. (since no bonus dollars have been received and no mention of the offer on your stmt)

thanks. That doesn't look good for me. I should have over 120 between Oct and Nov and we are going early Feb. I hope I get some on my Dec bill that doesn't cut until the very end of the month. That's one of the reasons I put everything on this card. I get cash back on my Amex and I would have used that if I knew. I guess with all I've charged, I would be in the higher cash rebate level for them!

My statement closed yesterday 12/8 - no bonus points for October on it. I think I will call to at least make sure they show that I'm registered - if I wait for my next statement to close on 1/8 and they don't show me signed up, it will be too late at that point.

If you recall the phone number to sign up with your code, it will tell you that you are already registered if you are. I did when I received the reminder the other day just to make sure. It's not a good sign for me that these bonus dollars are taking so long. We are going the beginning of Feb and my stmt cuts near the end of the month.

I just want to thank everyone for posting on this thread. I too, have not received any of my bonus points and was starting to get worried about it. Then I thought, hey wait, lets see what my dis friends have to say.

So, I feel better knowing I'm not the only one missing bonus points.
