I'm brand new to renting DVC points, so I don't understand exactly how it works, but going to give it a try. Going to be completely honest and say I'm looking for a great deal, single mom traveling with 6 kids (4 mine and 2 foster) 2/19-2/26. Already have a hotel off property booked but willing to spend a little more to stay on Disney property if I can get a great deal.

To stay on property with that many kids you will need a two bedroom. The cheapest you will be able to get is $4624.00, and that is at Animal Kingdom.
The benefits to staying on property for a large family like yours (I have 5 kids so I understand big families)
You have a full kitchen to order/bring groceries. One meal for that many people at the parks/hotel will cost you over $100 easy. (for counter service, not sit down)
You will have free transportation to all the parks/airport
Washer/dryer in the room so you don't have to pack as much.
