I generally find that there are very few problems that can't be solved with Hershey's and Valium ... but I suppose I see the Duct Tape / WD-40 synergy ...

I'll go along with it, except my old landlord used to substitute Vaseline for WD-40. I would clean the tops of the closet doors and get a handful of Vaseline.

Back when I got engaged in 1983, I went out to dinner with an older friend of mine who had been married for about 15 years. At dinner, she took my hand in hers, got this very profound look on her face and said to me, "Let me tell you the two most important things you need to have for a happy marriage." I waited for the profound answer:

"Get yourself a good dishwasher and a microwave oven."

I guess in the overall scheme of things, it certainly wasn't the worst advice
