Dang Ed, are you teasing us or what?? Show us some pictures already! :rotfl2:

Joe,

I'm up to my eyeballs in editing. Now that I'm shooting RAW, it's taking a lot longer, but the results are definitely worth it. I'll try to get a few of the edited files uploaded for potd posting in the next day or two. Mine pale in comparison to yours and Jeff's, but I have one or two I'm pretty happy with. I figure I have enough POTD material to see me through until the next time we get to WDW, anyway.

I don't know why but I immediately started to think about him talking to you while you took the picture (a la Mr Ed).

:thumbsup2

What do you take for memory cards when you shoot in RAW? How many pictures do you take?

As always, clicking the picture will take you to its Flickr page, where more fun can be had!

Ok, because I am always on a quest to become more savvy about things, I decided that my vocabulary word for the day would be bokeh.

Now, having looked it up, I wonder how I ever got along without the Japanese term for "photographic fuzziness caused by a camera lens using a shallow depth of field." Quite a mouthful, no? LOL

Nice Bokeh WDWFigment!!!! :wizard:

Here is a bad reflection. I wish I could have got rid of some of the sunlight.

I took a combination of 8GB, 4GB, 2GB and even a 512MB card totaling, IIRC, about 30GB and used every single bit of every single one of them. My total shot count was a tad over 3K for the five days and six night.

(If you want to keep your shot count down, don't do any "photography only" park adventures...)

°O°Joe Another great shot!! When did you take these Christmas pics?? Is this with your new D300??

.

We have pictures of this balloon guy too. He's a sweet CM. I wish I had gotten his name.

His nametag appears to say Fernando.

PryncessChrysty - Very nice shot of the One Man's Dream sign, especially the neat silhouette effect. :wizard: I don't think I've ever seen that sign photographed on here before.

roxrox - Very cool Big Thunder Mountain pic. :)

littleangie - :welcome: to the POTD thread! :) I look forward to seeing the rest of your pics from your first trip to the World.

That is a lot of memory. Do you download on to a computer while there as well?

Getting back into the swing of things (I hope)....

A little dark in this area of the Haunted Mansion, but a view that most people walk right by....the Hudson River...
