I agree- I sat and watched a pair of them work once and could not take my eyes off them- the way they animate the show is wonderful.

Can you give me the EXIF data on this photo? Which lens did you use?

Plus any tips you might care to offer for getting good shots like this at FotLK. What would you do differently?

Sure- the full EXIF is in the image but it was shot with the D700 & 180mm f2.8 prime. 1/160 Second, f2.8, ISO 560, -1EV, Center Weighted Metering.

HERE are some other FOTLK shots- you can see the EXIF in each if you are interested. I just take a lot of pictures and try to snap a few when the action pauses mostly.

Just a thought, but with the D700's outstanding ability to keep high ISO noise levels to a minimum, you might try hiking that ISO up to 1000+ to get the shutter speed even quicker (not that this photo needs it). Awesome shot though, Gdad! If you get time, drop me a PM about that lens... sounds like something I might be interested in for my next lens...
