Hey Everyone!

Yes, it was good to see Tad being "happy" and funny, again, yesterday! I was very surprised when he kissed Brooke, though - even if he WAS in a drunken stupor! And she didn't seem to mind too much, either!

Kendall is being so whiny and annoying. I can't believe that she would risk what she has with Ryan by coming on to Aidan, in an attempt to get information about Bianca / Erica / Chris. I don't know why Ryan hasn't left her a million times over, by this point! I almost gagged when he told JR that "one day, he will have something good in his life, or someone worth living for....." - please. Like Kendall could ever "replace" Gillian!

DH told me that he heard a rumor on the radio that there are real life marital difficulties for Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos - he heard that Mark does not like being thought of as "Mr. Kelly Ripa". I hope that the rumor isn't true - has anyone else heard anything like that?

I also don't get how Tim is a viable donor, all of a sudden, or how he would even be able to come - isn't the whole Dillon family still on the run, or in the witness protection program, or something? And I also noticed all of those long distance calls being made from the hospital, Aprille! Well, at least they're not whipping out their cell phones and using them in the hospital, like they always do.....even though there are signs all over the place that say "do not use cell phones in the hospital"!

The baby who plays Enzo is so cute!

Looks like Trey will be on and causing trouble again, today.....*SIGH*

You know the one question I have is, how does Kendall keep her bra straps up??? Does she wear strapless? It drives me nuts, all her shirts have the necklines going all the way out to the edges of her shoulders LOL.

I haven’t heard anything, Lisa, but I can’t say it surprises me. I get the feeling Mark is more like Mateo than we’ve been led to believe. I might fish around on PVB and see if anyone has heard anything.

Thoughts on today’s episodes:

Man, was I disappointed that we didn’t pick up where we left off with Ryan and Kendall! Ryan barely even mentioned the whole Kendall flirting with Aidan thing.

Totally enjoyed the whole photo-shoot, parents-from-hell, church-struck-by-lightening scenes! Roger was a hoot today!

Mary to Leo: "You are marrying into my family!!"
Roger: "God help you."

At one point while Mary and Leo were fighting Roger said something like, "Score for Leo!" and while Roger and Mary were arguing I heard him say, "Stuff it, Mary!" He was on a roll today. I hope they don't kill him off. He's the sleazy character I've come to love to hate.

Mary explaining why she invited the Count to the wedding: "I did it for Leo. I wanted him to have one presentable relative at the wedding. If it makes you happy to be represented by a psychotic drug czarina...
Leo: "SHE'S THE ONLY PARENT THAT WE KNOW FOR SURE THAT I'VE GOT! OK? ONE KILLER NUT BUCKET!" I about spit out the Diet Dr Pepper on that one!

I cracked up when Wolfie put the gun scope up to his eye and then realized the lens cap was still on! LOL!

I enjoyed the Vanessa/Trey scenes...
Trey: "You back off you wack job or you'll end up in worse shape than I am."
Vanessa karate chops his arm and says: "You don't know who you're dealing with. I once played a samari goddess in a film called Gonzo Rose." Then she was standing there in her little pseudo martial arts stance. LOL!

Looks like from the previews that Maria’s name is actually spoken tomorrow.{{{GASP!!}}} Ooooh – I’m all a’twitter. They lost me ages ago on this storyline.

Also looks like Aidan will be shirtless tomorrow. Woohoo!

Completely agree with the bore factor on the storylines you mentioned. But I can't stop watching. I'm totally addicted. LOL! I'm afraid I'll miss an episode like today which was really good! Or the 2 episodes last week - Battle of the Brides & Round 2. These are the episodes that keep me watching.

Not only was Aidan shirtless today, he was almost pantless too! My goodness, those were some major LOW-riders!

While I enjoyed the Anna/Maggie scenes I don't understand why anyone would go to Anna for fashion advice!

I enjoyed Tad much more today than the other day at The Pit. His facial expressions were priceless. I don't want him and Brooke back together but they do have great chemistry on screen.

Erica to Ryan: "Even if she didn't start the fire, Kendall is NOT innocent." Truer words were never spoken.

I hate Kendall so much that I'm thoroughly enjoying watching Trey stick it to her.

Ok, I watched today for the first time in about a week or so.

Do we know if "Whoever Gorman" knows she is Maria? I loved the scene today where she called Edmund and he says "Hey did you forget to tell me you loved me?"

I'm also confused about Maggie and Binks...why is Maggie going to the prom? Is she thinking she might gay? I've read that identical twins usually have the same sexuality....

Aidan-HOTTIE...Don't those who supervise the work, usually NOT DO the work?

Where did Erica get those knockers? Isn't she usually more flat chested?

Kendall-bleah..Could the dress her in a shirt that isn't so ugly at least once?

Trey-BAD...who will bust him as the arsonist? Is this story-line over yet?

The best part about today...NO LIZA!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm becoming a LIZA-Hater. The whole Adam-Liza-Mia things BORES ME! The last couple times I've sat down to watch the show, they've been on and I end up turning off the tv!

Yes, the past 2 days' shows have been pretty good! I wonder if Brooke will actually see Maria / Maureen when she goes to Nevada? That was a great scene with her and Tad, yesterday! I have a feeling that Maria really does have amnesia - I love when Brooke reminded Tad that he had also had amnesia! So many people in PV have had it, you know! They could also go to Anna for advice......

......and speaking of going to Anna for advice, you're right Aprille - who would go to Anna for fashion advice, after what she did to the back of her hair?!

And why IS Maggie so nervous about going to the prom with Bianca, if they are "just friends"?

I'm also getting tired of Liza-Mia-Adam - I'm glad that they weren't on yesterday, too. Looks like David is back to pick yet another fight with Anna, though.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Kendall is really going to mess up what she has with Ryan if she goes through with her "plan" with Aidan. I don't know what the heck she's thinking.

Liza/Adam/Mia GAGFEST!

Brooke-Edmund-Tad-Maria deal... I sort of like it, but that's probably because I like Maria. I don't want Brooke to be with Tad and she is boring (to me) with Edmund. I was kinda hoping that Maria would have amnesia and have another family to worry about to cause some friction with her return, but if it's just going to be about Edmund planning on marrying Brooke so he can't be with Maria right now... I hope they don't drag that out. Brooke needs someone brand new. So does Tad (but not Simone).

About David running off to wherever, I thought maybe Ditsie gave birth afterall and someone managed to rescue the baby. Sound familiar? This is just my temporary theory.

I LOVED the whole wedding fair scene, the battle of the brides, all scenes involving Greens, Leo, Roger, and Mary. How can those scenes/storylines be so darn fantastic and then we have to deal with Liza/Mia/Adam. I just don't get it. Leo was incredible as usual.

If we were supposed to think the scene with Maggie and her rollers and Anna doing her hair was supposed to be "cute"... it didn't work for me. They already did that type of scene with Greenly and the hair and distress that same day... Greens can pull off any scene. Maggie? Ick!

Anna/David - enough already! How about if some other woman has the hots for him and he is tempted... I dunno... ANYTHING for a change of pace with those two. Or maybe someone handsome and powerful gets a job with Anna and she is tempted... or better yet, she goes back to Europe to be with her HIV pos daughter or back to General Hospital. But leave Aiden here with us.

Kendall/Ryan - you know at the wedding fair I decided I wanted them to be happy afterall. But with her latest scheme... forget it!... she doesn't deserve to be happy and she sure doesn't deserve Ryan. Also, she needs to wear her hair in different styles.
I used to like Kendall a lot. I still do like her character, but this is getting to be a bit much.

Oh, those empty paper cups... looks like they even painted the inside bottom half a rich shade of coffee brown.

Chris Stamp, I love ya, Guy, but who didja THINK Ryan was going to give the ring to?

I love to hate Roger too... please don't go, Roget`! Why is everyone leaving????? Oh, I know, it could be the writing.

This is probably old news by now but someone posted a link to this on PVB a while back and I meant to post it over here but kept forgetting.

I can't believe I keep forgetting to mention that I got our airline tickets for SSW this week - 2 roundtrips from Houston to Orlando on Continental for less than $240. Woohoo! Regular airfare for the flights we're taking is $317.50 - EACH. (Yikes! Can you believe that?!) I got my ticket with my OnePass miles and had an $84 voucher to use with dh's ticket.

We've got our room at the Swan booked, dh has an AP that doesn't expire until Dec and I've already bought a 4 day PH so we're good to go!

Our flight arrives at MCO on Sat, Nov 9 at 11:04am and we're taking the 6pm flight home on Tue, Nov 12.

So who all is going? Is it just me, Christine and Faith? To be honest I'm not planning on attending many of the SSW events. DH and I want to spend most of our time at Epcot for the F&W Fest. The main reason I picked SSW was to meet some fellow AMC/DISer's. We'll need to plan a meet for a specific day and time somewhere.

There's a feature story on Cady McClain in the local newspaper TV guide. I looked online and they have everything but this story on their website. Figures. So I typed it up as I thought some of you might be interested.

Hair’s the story for actress

Some actors are so identified as a particular soap opera character that they find it hard to be accepted in another role.

Cady McClain played Dixie Martin for 14 years (albeit not consecutively) on All My Children and to a great effect. When she recently quit the show, she did not foresee a quick return to daytime.

She was looking to do other things. She is so identifiable as the AMC heroine she played, that few expected to see her create another daytime character. Yet McClain had barely left the show when As the World Turns came to her with the proverbial offer she could not refuse.

And she developed a new look when she took on the role of Rosanna Cabot on As the World Turns. She has created a character so unlike Dixie Martin that it is hard to recognize the actress.

“It’s all about the hair,” McClain says. “When I was trying to reinvent Dixie, I would change my hair to help me find the acting challenge.”

“Fans thought of Dixie as one character, but I saw her as many different ones. I finally had nothing new to create.” She laughs. “There were just no more haircuts.”

She describes the hair as part of the external devices that go into making up a character. McClain, an artist herself, likens the process to using to an artist’s palette. The hair is just one of many colors, but it is one that is most visible.

When she left AMC, McClain says she “left to open doors for greater opportunity. And, then I got a phone call out of the blue.”

The actress notes that daytime is a demanding job, and she really had left hoping to have more time to pursue the theater, independent films, acting classes, her painting and a myriad of other things. She says she performed in at least 10 plays while on AMC, but that she had anticipated extra time to do more without a day job.

McClain played a heroine on AMC, and although her character on ATWT was once a good girl, she has been scarred by life and McClain welcomes the opportunity to play at being bad.

“She’s definitely not a good girl anymore,” she says. “And there are just so many avenues I can take.”

McClain feels her character’s newly hardened demeanor is due to her having been hurt when her fiancé, Mike Kasnoff (played by Shawn Christian), and her sister Carly Tenney (Maura West) had a tryst that resulted in a pregnancy.

McClain teases that even though Christian will not be returning to the role, the character is due to resurface soon. Prepare for fireworks.

Thoughts on today's episode:

Woohoo! It looks like Ryan catches Kendall putting the moves on Aidan tomorrow. I can’t wait! Kendall so deserves for Ryan to dump her on her @$$!!!

Hayley the b!tch returns today. UGH! Hayley to Mia: “I’m the ears, nose and throat of this town. I know everything.” Huh? Ears, nose and throat?! “I’m going to be watching you day and especially night.” Doesn’t she have a gravely ill child to occupy her time?! What really ticks me off about this whole storyline is that Hayley will be made to look like the hero when it’s all said and done. Blech!

I enjoyed the Liza/Ryan goodbye scenes. I found it very touching since we know it’s more than just the characters saying goodbye. Anyone else notice that Liza was the only one who didn’t have to ask Ryan who he was marrying?

Gillian’s middle name was Maria?! That’s odd, don’t ya think?

Why would bugging the penthouse now gain Kendall the information she thinks she needs? Wouldn’t she just be getting construction workers’ conversations?

I cracked up when Kendall slapped Trey. The camera angle was hysterical with Trey’s face going into the camera after the slap. Poor Trey. He’s everybody’s punching bag. LOL!

Hi Aprille! How many days do we have till SSW? Oh I see, 129 days.....WOW! Not too bad! Now, lets see, How many of us are actually going?? RAISE YOUR HANDS PLEASE!! I saw the show yesterday, ok, so WHO is Leo's DAD?? We were interupted because of bad weather(What else is new ). so I missed that part. Thanks!

Faith - well, the DNA test showed that the Count is Leo's dad but I don't think it's true. I still think Wolfie might be his dad and maybe he tampered with the DNA test so that everyone would think that the Count is Leo's dad. Chief She-Wolf (I love calling her that!) is already suspicious about the whole thing.

Thanks Aprille! Where is everyone?? Why are we the only two conversing? I have decided that I will be attending SSW but, I have to give UP my trip to DIS CON. Dec. is a busy month, and do not know whether I will be able to take off at that time. So, I hope MORE of you ladies attend SSW, as this will be the only time I will meet any of you.

I finally saw the WHOLE show yesterday. After reading David's rant, it was great to see Kendall whack Trey! I don't think Trey is a believable villain...go Adam Chandler, take him down.

I really don't like Mia and I'm glad Hayley is out to get her. Go Hayley!

Looks like the new Mateo debuts today. Yay...I'm tired of the old one. The new guy was in the audience of LIVE! a few weeks back. Hope he can act!

Ryan's goodbye scenes were so sad. If you didn't know he was leaving the show they didn't make a whole lot of sense. Yes they are supposed to get married, but they can't leave until after the trial and that could take days or MONTHS in soap time!

Aprille-I didn't get the bugging of the construction site either. The "trial" is NOW so how could a bug help at all? DUMB!

Maybe I'll get to see the show today........Stay cool ladies.
