Kendall plots against her sister when she realizes Bianca is unaware of Maggie's presence.

Chris arrests Mateo and thinks he has discovered Proteus' identity.

Hey Everyone!

Hope that you all had a nice Superbowl Sunday / weekend! Glad to hear that you had a nice time at Universal, Christine, and thanks for the spoilers (which I reluctantly read.....hee hee!) I was really convinced that we were going to see Maggie for the first time on Friday, and was disappointed that we didn't. Maybe I got the dates mixed up - maybe she will debut THIS coming Friday, instead.

PNelson - I don't recall the scene with Chris and Ryan, either - maybe they got confused and aired a "coming attraction" for something that will actually happen this coming week!

You know, Christine, I would give you a recap of Friday's show....but while I remember it was good, I can't remember too much about it! I recall that Simone admitted to Hayley that she was "really" falling for Mateo, and apologized to her for letting her feelings get the best of her (I personally think that the whole conversation was an act that they were both in on, because later, Mateo joined the conversation and admitted to Hayley that he kissed Simone back when she kissed him "for real"....and Vanessa just "happened to be" listening to the whole conversation). I remember Jake inviting Mia to be his first mate on the new sailboat that he bought (he said that he was going to take it on the high seas in April.....maybe that's the time at which his contract and Mia's end, and they will both leave together??), and she agreed. Just as they were hugging and all excited about their trip, Greenlee came to see Jake at S.O.S. and was annoyed that he was with Mia. She wanted to talk to Jake about Leo's seemingly obsessive behavior about his mother, but Jake told her that he can't always be there for her and drop everything for her, and then he left S.O.S. with Mia. There was another confrontation between Greenlee and Vanessa. Leo was at the boathouse (where EVERYONE goes to think!) thinking about his life and the difficulties between Greenlee and Vanessa and his relationship with Vanessa, when he saw a trunk floating in Willow Lake (?!) He pulled the trunk out of the water and saw that it was the same one that he and David had lugged for Vanessa. He pried it open and found.......nothing! Just a bunch of water and seaweed-looking stuff. But then he found Larry's watch (he remembered seeing it on Larry's wrist the night that Larry beat him up). That's about all that I remember - maybe someone else recalls more details!

I watched today, so we saw Maggie for the first time. For some reason I like this actress so I hope that they keep her character around. I would rather see her over Kendall any day!!!

I am so waiting for this Proteus stuff to be done with, it is getting old fast. Also would like to see Ryan finally find out the truth about how him and Chris are related.

Am I nuts, or did we miss something in between Friday's episode and yesterday's? The "coming attractions" for yesterday's episode showed Vanessa saying "you're alive!" to someone (obviously to Maggie, thinking she was Frankie) .......but then yesterday's episode began with Maggie, Vanessa, and Greenlee already involved in conversation! I don't get it! We missed the big climactic moment when Maggie is shown for the first time. And the episode begins with Mateo fighting with Chris....to the best of my memory, Friday's episode ended with the police pulling up to SOS (obviously alerted by Vanessa), just after Mateo discovers the drugs in his safe and realizing that he'd been set up. We missed Derek et. al. storming in and "catching" Mateo. Very weird. Bad editing, or is my memory just bad?

In the mean time......how will Bianca know where to find Kendall.....since Kendall didn't tell her where to meet her! And why would Bianca come in the first place, after how Kendall treated her??!!

I can't stand the way that Kendall saunters around, bobbing and weaving and shaking her head - it's very annoying!

Didn't Jake say on Friday that he'd already bought a boat and that it's in Connecticut??!! Then why were he and Mia going to "see a man about a boat" in PINE VALLEY, yesterday? Did his deal fall through, some time between Friday and yesterday??!!

I'm so confused!!!! Yesterday's episode was like the Twilight Zone, or something!

All I can say is the old Kendall never acted that way...I mean, she was demeaning and in control a lot, but she never "acted" like she was...I don't know if that makes sense or not...The new Kendall, in my opinion, is not a very good actress...I think she tries Too Hard to be Kendall...I don't know...I just like SMG way better as Kendall...of course I always liked her character anyway...She always added something to the shows...Of course, now I have to go and whine about how much I miss alot of the old characters (Trevor!!)

...and this Proteus storyline...Gawd!! Is it ever going to end?????

See, IASW, they do show things on the coming attractions that don't always show the next day! I noticed it with Chris & Ryan, and I also noticed the thing with Vanessa! It is very strange! Either I'm missing things or not watching my tape until the end. Also, the last time I saw Jackson, he was going to "bribe" Kendall to leave or something-What happened with that? Did they show it?

I just watched yesterday's episode on tape and I have to agree with you, IASW! I was totally confused through the entire episode. It felt like I had missed an episode or something! Many of the stories seemed to pick up at a different place than we left off.

I didn't really care for Maggie's opening scenes. Her acting ability seems to have fallen off during her downtime. Everything about the scenes seemed awkward. Maybe it was just nerves of her "new" character being introduced. (And not very well IMO - not just her but the whole situation.) She seemed to settle down by the later scenes of the day.

I thought the same thing about Bianca not knowing where to meet Kendall.

Okay, the Proteus storyline got interesting for a couple of weeks there. Now they're falling off the interest meter again. Enough already!

I totally agree with you about Kendall's overacting, Beanie! She needs to CALM DOWN!

Pnelson - yes, they showed Jack offering to pay Kendall off to leave town on Thursday (I think)....but then they never showed her response to him! The next time we saw her, she was telling Ryan that she decided to stay in PV, with a sneaky look on her face....but we never saw the end of the scene with Jack! She implied that she kept the money that he gave her, on yesterday's episode, though.

Hi Aprille! Yes, yesterday's episode sure was weird!! I hope that today's makes more sense! Maybe they were just trying to make Maggie seem sort of socially awkward and maybe sort of "nice", as opposed to Frankie's more self-assured forthrightness, or something - trying to show the "subtle" differences between the characters? Who knows! Hope that all is well with you!

I thought today was weird too! What's going on? Maybe the writers are just messing with us! LOL!

IASW - I thought Jake had already bought the boat too. And today he asked Mia again if she was going with him and she said she "may". Didn't she agree to go with him already?

Kendall called Bianca again today and told her where to meet her. But it was like it was the first time she called.

Why is Chris such a hard@$$ all of a sudden? Why is he going after Mateo? Why do I care?

Why do Frankie and Maggie have the same first name - Mary Francis and Mary Margaret? Isn't that a little strange to have twins with the same first name?

Why did David agree to leave Ditsie's bedside so soon? I find that very difficult to believe!

Why does Ditsie look gorgeous after a near-death experience? (I'm NEVER going to forgive the gorgeous Dr David for saving Ditsie's life! )

When is Ditsie's last air date? Seriously. Has anyone heard? I desperately need something to look forward to!

Yes, unfortunately Ditsie is still alive and I will never, ever forgive Dr David for saving her life! And, yes, Tad is still pining for her as is David. I'm afraid the pining will go on ad naseum for quite some time after Ditsie leaves.

Yes, Ditsie's still alive. I can't believe that Tad handed her the divorce papers AND his wedding ring, 2 seconds after she "recovered". And I also can't believe that David left her bedside so quickly. What's going to happen to him, now? Dr. Joe is ready to fire him for blowing off his surgery at the hospital.....but he won't be able to explain why he didn't show up, 'cause he can't admit that he used his non-FDA-approved drug on Ditsie! I wonder how they will write her off the show?

I thought that Maggie was pretty rude to Bianca, yesterday. True, I would be a little freaked out if a total stranger started hugging me and touching my face, but after all of the times that she told Leo that she wanted to meet Bianca so that she could learn about Frankie, she WAS a little cold to her. Kendall made me want to barf with her "concerned sister" act.

And what business did Ryan have to storm into the room where Mateo was being "booked" and start talking about what Chris did to HIM? And why was Ryan the one who told Hayley that "time's up" and she had to leave - what is he - a police officer, all of a sudden??? How did his bike get fixed so quickly - was that ever explained?

I'm so confused! It seems like the writers are, too. It almost seems like THEY want the Proteus storyline to end, too, but they don't know how to do it and how to untangle all of the messes that they've created!

Well, anyway, looking forward to seeing the scene where Erica walks in on Bianca and Maggie, today!
