If I remember correctly, he is the brother that Dixie gave one of her kidneys to. That is why Tad doesn't like him, because Dixie endangered herself for him. I believe he also dated Kendall, maybe. I forget why he left.

Who is this Del Henry guy? How was he related to Dixie? Why did he call her Di Henry? Wasn't Dixie's maiden name Dixie Cooney? I'm totally mixed up.

Please reply asap - as my DD and I are waiting for an answer.

Del is Dixie's brother. She gave him a kidney and he married Kendall (they moved away, both Del and Kendall left the show). He also had connections with Maria, a former flame.

Del was Dixie's 1/2 brother (they shared a father) and I thought his last name was Hunkle? Anyway, Del came to town looking for a kidney and Dixie was his closest living relative. Due to her heart problems she was warned against it but went ahead with the transplant. While he was in PV it turns out Del and Maria went to college together and had a fling. While dating him she became pregant and miscarried after a fall from a horse. That's where her problems with fertility came from. Del eventually left town with Kendall although they were never married.

I'm also not up on past history but I'll make a guess -- if Del is Dixie's half-brother, then maybe "Di" is his sister -- and a half-sister to Dixie. He did call her Di right off the bat, right? (Missed some of today's show).

I'm getting to the point where I don't really care who she is! LOL!

I'm still not buying this whole Dixie thing. If she's an unknown half-sister, how does she know intimate details about Tad and Dixie (not just what David told her)? Is she really in love with Tad, too? And heck, can't he tell the difference? That it's not exactly like it was with Dixie or does he write that off to the fact that her face and body are also entirely different? ;-)

I used to watch AMC a hundred years ago. I work at a golf club and their signature cocktail is a "Pine Valley", which I assumed had to do with the soap.

Who knew Pine Valley was a famous golf course?? Not me!!!

I also read that Di will wind up being Dixie's half sister (they never mentioned a half sister in the past - just Lainie, her "full sister", and Will, her "full brother", along with Del), and that SHE will somehow be the only one to save Julia from "Dragon", who is going to kidnap her. "Dragon" is presumably the person who is "after" her, and will turn out to be someone whom we already "know" (Del, perhaps?). In order to save Julia, Di will have to reveal who she really is. Who knows? Maybe "Dragon" has been keeping the REAL Dixie prisoner, all this time (a la Dr. Kinder and Skye), and that's why she hasn't been able to get back to PV, JR, and Tad????? Who knows. Who cares?!!!!! I REALLY don't know how they're going to explain away the fact that Di knows all of those intimate things from Tad and Dixie's relationship, has memories of JR and Jamie as children, etc., if she is going to turn out to be some random half sister, whom nobody ever mentioned or knew existed! RIDICULOUS.

And speaking of "ridiculous", I guess that we will get to see Jonathan, tomorrow.

How much do you want to bet that Kendall will conceive twins or triplets and will demand to "keep one for herself" when they are born? I just have a feeling that there will be conflict over Kendall giving up Ryan's child / children when all is said and done, thus renewing the conflict between her and Greenlee.........

Garrett watching Dani...Is he the stepfather? I thought when I've watched them that he was weird. I was wondering if they were heading in an incest/molestation direction with him. I've thought when I watched the scenes that it seems he is "grooming" Dani. Not that incest/molestation is a good thing, but for once I wish they would have a real story line that actually tackles a real issue, so I hope they go in that direction with them. I think a soap is at it's best when it has some meat as it's backbone, not just fake, made up, "fall down the well and get rescued by Proteus, who is then someone's long lost twin sister who died 5 years ago" stuff. I'd rather watch something that actually has some reality to it.

That's a thought for a storyline. Although, if they don't want to have to deal with the "young chicks" on the show being mothers, they'll have to ship the mother and children off to "Europe" a la Bianca. Didn't we hear Greenlee wants off AMC?

I'm just wondering what Greenlee and Kendall's reaction will be when they find out they've gone to this extreme to "keep Ryan alive" and the bum has been playing them for fools all along. ;-)

SPOILERS FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 22ND


Kendall keeps Zach in the dark about her surrogacy plans with Greenlee, even after he warns her to not get involved.

David is onto Kendall and Greenlee and their plans.

Danielle tells Simone there is something not right about Garrett.

Garrett begins to work his charms on Livia.

Julia makes a mysterious phone call which Kendall overhears.

Julia meets with the mystery man on the other end of that call, who in turn pulls a gun on her.

Kendall's attempts to keep Zach away from Julia, blow up in her face making the situation worse.

Kendall goes to see Derek and Mimi with an offer to make a deal.

While attempting to leave Wildwind, Julia and Zach find themselves in the midst of gunfire.

Ryan is stunned to find a completely delusional Jonathan alive and living at Erin's.

Erin is forced to admit she pulled Jonathan from the rubble that day, taking him to a clinic to have his wounds treated.

Ryan refuses Erin's insistence that he leave, seeing that his brother has gone completely insane.

Jamie tells JR he is done with Babe forever.

Tad confides his feelings about Dixie to Brooke, telling her they may get back together.

JR sees a new side to Babe, which only makes Babe all the more determined to get her son away from him.

Babe and Krystal try forming a plan to get the facts from David on Dixie.

Lily becomes upset with Reggie after he follows she and Sam on their date to The Valley Inn.

Erica goes to David for help with Greg Madden.

SUMMER PREVIEW


Erica's new talk show is a smash hit, with several sought after stars making an appearance.

Julia is kidnapped by the Dragon, who is known by another name in Pine Valley.

Di knows who the Dragon is and how to save Julia, but it will mean exposing herself.

The real Dixie may return leaving the town of Pine Valley utterly stunned.

Jonathan returns to town taking everyone by surprise.

Kendall finds herself fighting for Zach's affection in light of Julia coming to town.

Ryan returns to find out that Kendall may be carrying his child.

There is something medically wrong with Jonathan, which explains his dangerous and erratic behavior but can he be saved in time?

Adam finds himself thinking about Krystal in ways he had never imagined.

And I know what you mean, S&K'sMom - the surrogacy storyline is pretty lame. And I agree with you, Pam - it will be interesting to see how Greenlee and Kendall react when they find out that Ryan is alive.........and how RYAN will react when he learns that Kendall is pregnant with his and Greenlee's
